hay guys! Love your skits! I have a video suggestion, how can you act confident and show that your are the boss when you are trying out a horse or just riding someone else's?

MissxRainboweyes That type of body language isn't going to get you anywhere on a horse that you don't know and doesn't know you. I agree with Cecilia, the best way to gain the horse's trust is by treating them naturally and with mutual respect. In a herd there is always a lead horse, one that is clearly dominant over the rest and that the others tend to be wary of. The only time you want to fill that role is with a dominant horse like that. Otherwise leveling with the horse and matching your energy to theirs is the best way to go. If you are trying to learn a horse's body language... Go sit in a pasture with a herd of horses for a few hours and watch them.
