"check with your vet before doing any streches".. Well, if I'm about to bring out a vet or equine therapist I really don't need to watch DIY videos on stretches do I?

Didn't tell you how to actually size and fit a saddle.. Pins of saddle to T8 should be 2 fingers back of scapular ..to back of saddle flush to last rib.

Murphy's Law...you find the PERFECT saddle that fits you & your horse...& it'll be the most expensive one in the whole store...🙄

This video gives some great tips! And for more info, look for Schleese & Equitopia videos on saddle fit. They go into the actual anatomy of the horse & why you want the saddle sitting in a certain place...based on the skeletal structure of the horse.

Tried this exercise last night. Great results. I have and ex barrel horse that gets extremely hot. We actually maintained a civilized demeanour! I believe the halting exercise at the beginning helped. We only did up to cantering the cross rail. Wanted to end on a good note as he was sooo super! Will make it a vertical next time and do the cavelleti. Thank you.

Tip. Put bands on/ around your little finger while plaiting down. Turn end of plait back on itself to give neat tidy end.

this video was very helpful for me when i was first learning about saddle fitting and the horses comfort. i recently had to have a custom for my horse because he is just a natrialy very wide horse. the tree had to be custom made to be wide so he could move comfortably. ty for spreading correct education to anyone looking for it!
