Thank you so much, Matt. I bought one of these ALP generators about a year ago to run my frig when the power goes out but hadn't given much thought to how versatile it might be. I'll be ordering a set of jumper cables tonight and tomorrow morning it'll be a trip to Harbor Freight for one of those watt meters. With the meter I'll be able to see how much power I'm drawing and not have to worry about over-loading the generator. Thanks again, I just subscribed.

I bought one 2 years ago & kept it in the box as a backup in case I needed it, WELL with the recent Idalia 2023 storm here in Florida my Briggs & Stratton gen let me down, so I pulled the ALP out of the box filled with oil & hooked her up, had ZERO issues, kept the Refrigerator running the whole time, I was SO impressed I ordered TWO more to keep as backups along with the parallel cables but can't figure out WHY & HOW you would use such? IF you hook 2 together does it mean ANYTHING that uses the same plug style can plug into ANY of the panel female outlets can operate that uses more watts? I DON'T get / understand the concept.
