The vast majority of mechanics look like they've just finished a 12 hour shift down a coal mine, but you managed to start that engine, without getting a single smudge on that perfectly white top! Now that is an achievement! ♥

I know a few that are pretty damned good mechanics, many with military service & training, and I have to admit I’ve seen some VERY attractive women with blue hair, piercings and tattoos, but that’s just my opinion... To me, there’s nothing more attractive than a strong, capable and independent woman who’s not all submissive and servile- one that knows her way around engines is just more alluring!

The moment she opened the valve on the starter-air bottle, I was suddenly taken some years back - working in the North Sea, on ''Stril Clipper'; I was helping the 'chief' down in the eng.room, lifting the head of a compressor back in place after overhaul, and when mounted & connected, he started it up - simultaneously opening the valve on the huge bottle (tank) of (starter-) air for the main engine. Suddenly a flange (on the pipe going from the compressor to the main eng. starter-air tank) broke off, and a hell of a *_swoooshing-air-sound_* erupted (0nly an auxcillary engine was running at the time, so the sound of escaping air was *_REAL LOUD!!!_* ). And _that's_ when the idiot chief for a moment *_totally panicked!_* - He stood in one place - turning in circles!!! - absolutely _clueless_ - until he _finally_ ran for the valve of the m.engine's starter-air tank and got it closed! (I'll _never, ever_ forget the expression of being totlly and _uttely_ 'lost'! 🤣 [This ''guy'' was in some ways _more_ of a woman than the girl starting this good ole B.W! . . . . . ) Good job to this nice family! 😉👍
