The lady at 4:35 is a true gem, this is how my Grandmother treated my Grandfather, they were married for 76 years until my Grandfather passed at 93, she is now 97 and I'm sad she laments everyday still without him, but it proves there bond where she is completely ready to go now because Grandad is no longer here. In return my Grandfather treated my Grandmother with the type of love and devotion you have probably only seen once in your life. His job after the war moved the family all over the world and Mumma was there to support and keep the family unit work and Grandad financially supported the family. Mumma loved the adventure, she was in the WAAF during the war and risk for adventure was no issue. Both where/are very humble people and family was the most important thing for them and they had 2 and 3 kids those 3 children had 7 children all up and they in turn have provided 10 great grand children. I could only wish to be as lucky in life as my Grandparents were with family and love, I'm 41 and have not had the opportunity to have children (being a sensible position in life and long term partner).

I, as an old man came up with one rule that I tell all young people I meet. Other than your mother, nobody actually cares about you, a couple can put their backs against each other and take on the world, that is out to get each of you. Or, you can each go your own way, do what you want to do and battle the world on your own. Why would you submit to a relationship if you want to take on the world by yourself? Trust me, the whole world does not care what happens to you! The partner or, as I prefer "lifemate" you choose should be trying to advance your situation because it is also their situation.

I've only had 2 women treat me like an actual king, but they both let it slip that they didn't want to work and wanted me to take care of their kids.

One tip I can give all the ladies. Small things matter. If my man asks for a sandwich, I ask him how many. (And make sum for myself we can eat together) If he asks me to grab him a pair of socks, I'll get him his socks. If he's in another room and he's asking me to come over, I'll maybe need a couple of seconds, but I'll come over. (And then he shows me a video of an animal doing cute shit, or he'll show me memes, I love that) It's the little things that go a long way.

As a girl who was brought up in princess mode, and now as a woman who has found the Lord and repented of my pride and arrogance and self centeredness, this is exactly the woman I strive to be. Our society is failing girls and lying to them, telling them men are trash and they are goddesses. Its sexist and just stupid. We would be nothing without our men providing and protecting us. We should cherish them. I constantly fail at being a loving, feminine, submissive wife , but I pray I will be redeemed and honor my husband in these ways. It's completely counter culture but there is hope the traditional wives are making a comeback. May Jesus grant us the wisdom and humility to embrace and enjoy our God given roles. Women and men.
