The Prophet (may Allaah exalt his mention) informed us about this because, generally speaking, this is true. As soon as a wife has a dispute with her husband, she would forget all the good that he has done for her and she would say that she has never seen any good from him. So this was a warning for women not to be ungrateful to their husbands and forget how good they treated them.
