Remember when people trashed the Spongebob musical saying it was disrespecting Stephen hillenburg when in reality he loved the musical and was at the premiere

Kamp Koral's theme song sounds so bored and uninterested compared to the original show's theme song which sounded so much more lively and high-spirited as well as summing up the show's underwater theme.

So all this buildup and "controversy" and it turned out that the show is just one big steamy pile of "meh"? I'd say I'm surprised, but I never had any expectation for this show anyway.

the only thing that bugs me it's the lack of bubbles, i mean, in the show there were bubbles appearing when they move and the background, it was a small detail but it help remember that they are under water.

The one reason i know this isn’t canon is because of sandy. In sandy’s first appearance in season 1 spongebob made it clear that he hadn’t known sandy prior. So it wouldn’t make sense that he met her when he was a kid at summer camp

I've also noticed how this show continues the running gag of Squidward Torture Porn, they just keep hurting him for very unfunny slapsticks, I'm really sick tired of seeing Squidward suffer.

I don’t know how to explain this but the environments look “barren” and the lighting doesn’t feel as bright and happy as the 2D animated version

Anyone else feels like the areas in this often look incredibly empty? Like they could've just thrown some random objects in the background to fill it out?
