My truck is strange tho… I originally installed these without the harness and everything worked; the drls in the daytime and the startup sequence. if I’m in drive, the low beams are on regardless even if I switch them to off, and so are the Drls. That’s why I was confused. If I’m in park, the switch functions just like you said, but once in drive, low beams are on no matter what the switch is on. When I installed the harness, everything worked just the same 😂 Thanks for watching!

I had the same issue on the passenger side when installing new fahren termitors. Both sides would also shut off while driving. I switched the LEDs from passenger to driver and vice versa l, and it fixed the issue. They work like a charm now, I don't know if the LEDs are side specific, but switching them somehow fixed the issue Update: 5 days later, the passenger side shuts off and on when it wants. No feedback from Fahren or Alpharex CS. So looks like I'll be ordering the the Auxitos

After 1 yearish, my passenger side low beam is going in and out as of last night/today. 2020 F150, Alpha Rex Pros. Alpha Rex is saying to replace the halogen bulb and is playing dumb like this isn't a common issue.

Sup! There are several different types; a few brands offer with LED bulbs. Alpharex offers a set with built in LEDs I think it’s called the Nova Series. And they are actually built in. They look amazing, but if you have an issue, you cant just replace a bulb, you’d have to have them repaired with a new set of LEDs.

Sup! The included wiring harness should enable the drls for your truck. As long as you tap into with a fuse you be fine, but you can check with Alpharex to verify and make sure. Let me know how it goes for you

I agree with you! These connections are horrible! With the price we paid for these, we shouldn’t have this problem at all. It’s a shame we both had to rig them to get it to work. I was considering those tails for my truck too… I guess I’ll look elsewhere. Thanks for the comment!

Personally, I'd look at Anzo tails if you're in the market. I never had a bit of problem out of mine. I don't know how Morimoto or any other brand is but Anzos I can say work!

This is the link for the Auxito H7 LEDs that I used. www.auxito.com/products/h7-led-bulb-16000lm-6500k-xenon-white-compact-design-halogen-replacement The projectors will function with or without. the only difference was the white DRL on the projectors won’t be on in the daytime unless you turn your headlight switch to the on position. I’ve heard that the quality is better with morimotos and they look amazing, but I can’t do that price tag! Although I’ve also heard that they come with a lifetime warranty and they’ll replace free of charge, but I’m not sure how true that is. @@MeAndCarKeys it doesn’t sound like the lights, maybe just the plug. Might be able to cut the plug off and splice on a good quality plug. I know my brother had to order new OEM plugs for his 2015 super duty when we put the Morimoto lights on it. I think you can get the OEM plugs and sockets on Amazon.

@@jimmyhorton8297 A few things. I had to adjust my screws but got my lights to align but took a while. The instructions for mine came on a little paper that you scan that takes you to a YT video that shows you how to install. The issue with the lights not working is the tap if you tapped into your Raptor lights as it WILL screw it up. (Had the same issue) I ended up using a relay for my Raptor lights instead of tapping into the ARexs no more issue. Just beware when tapping in because it does not like them and will end up shorting out.

@@MeAndCarKeys I had the same issue with my lights. The lights don't like being tapped into so if you tapped those Raptor lights in they WILL short out your lights and/or make them do strange things. I unplugged my tap for the Raptor lights to the ARexs and instead ran a direct relay to the Raptor Lights (Overkill maybe but they work) and no more issues at all. My instructions came on a little scan card where you scan it and it takes you to a site showing installation. I almost threw it out but it was there in my case. Keep up the great work on these videos.

@Me And Car Keys I totally get where you're coming from. There's times I've even let stuff go because the headache is worse than the work-around. My thought was the tags would allow it to get to them at some point and if they choose not to do anything then that's on them. In addition you would still get the word out to people and not be out anything more than you already are.

Yes… because anyone can call the company and say there’s a problem with them even if there isn’t, and if they didn’t have you send the old one back first, then they’re gonna risk you stealing one by saying yours is defective and it wasn’t then you got another for free

@Off-road Projects and Fun I am well aware of that but here is the problem with that logic. 95% of that companies business is people like myself or MACK who install their products on their daily driver vehicles, now that company is telling their custome to remove the headlight and send it back to them so they can verify it is defective before they will replace it. So they expect that customer to drive around for one to possibly two weeks with a gaping whole in the front end of their vehicle, which is ILLEGAL by the way. So that means they r unable to drive that vehicle for a week or two. And if the light is not defective #1 what would be the advantage of the customer to say it is just to get another one, when they then have to send the old one back anyway, and #2 the request was not to replace both lights, and the company was not replacing both lights only the one... and if said customer does not send the defective light back in a timely manner then the company could charge for the replacement, I have dealt with many companies who have this kind of service for replacements. Usually they tell u they will send a replacement and if u don't return the defective product back within 7 to 10 days then u will be charged for the replacement.

Yes you would, its like a traditional headlight setup. Alpharex is a very well known company. I’ve heard of people having the same issues as I had, but I’ve also heard people with no issues at all who swear by Alpharex. What happened with your lights?

They sent me the wrong light's, their tech Edwin, probably guy u talked to, sounded great on the phone about sending me new bezels, never did, won't respond anymore, but as I was waiting the 10 day passed so even though they messed up, I now have to pay for shipping back. I have a custom shop scheduled to paint bezzls n grill, I will now loose my spot because of garbage alpharex.
