He did not have the defensive skills in MLS.. because Bayern LB+RB need to interpret their role in the offensive, Davies became so good.. he can play out his natural skills and ability while learning and training the skills he needed for playing a match..

If I'm not mistaken Alphonso used to play as a striker in his youth in Edmonton and thereafter with the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS. If so, then its amazing he is able to switch positions and still be lethal on the field. From watching his first few games in the Bundesliga, his defensive skills needed improving but his last few games showed immense improvement. The future is bright.

Although he is a beast as a lb i think he has potential as a forward and take the Gareth Bale route and revert back to a winger. Although he is a very versatile, imagine the pace and dribbling being using on the opposition half, and he is left-footed. He would also be a press machine and using some of that defensive prowess when pressing etc.

Look,I don't know how to say this in a respectful manner. I know you content creators work hard to make these videos but you should revisit your Kylian Mbappe video because there you portrayed him like Inaki Williams(a pace merchant). I don't want to say that pace isn't a big part of the game but Kylian is also technically sound and also possesses good passing. The passing isn't Kevin De Bruyne level but playing in such a dominant side other players dominate the ball more and let him have an impact in the final 3rd like Di Maria or Neymar. Pace is probably his biggest weapon but it isn't like he can do nothing else but run.

The idea of having one fullback attack, is very similar to Mourinho's treble winning Inter Milan. In an average back four of Maicon-Samuel-Ivan-Zanetti, Maicon had the license to attack and form a big part of Inter Milan's attack.
