Alpine A110 Track Battle at Circuit Dijon-Prenois!

2 жыл бұрынThe start of the 3 trackdays in 3 days epic road trip was at the fantastic ex-F1 circuit at Dijon-Prenois. Here ten A110s had the track to ourselves for our 20 minute sessions, and great fun was had dicing with similar specced A110s.
This video is the first time out on track where I run with a prepped A110 that has similar spec to the Life110 car, including the amazing paddle shifters.
Towards the end of the video I hang back to put in a fast lap, and the timing on the day showed the Life110 as 2 seconds faster per lap than 2nd place, truly fast performance from a car that can tour Europe.

How much of the time is down to the Cup tyres? I'm still on stock PS4's.

The fastest 3 cars on the day all had Cup2s, I was 2 seconds faster than second place in a similar spec car. The tyre is about 1.5 secs a lap faster at Cadwell.

Wonder how much of the 2 sec came down to driver skills.

He means, with the same drivers. It's obvious that semi slick tires are way more efficient compare to "normal" tires. I was there on the track and the advantage of the tires is clearly visible, you can even hear the difference ;-)
