Alpine Slide at the Utah Olympic Park (Park City, Utah)

4 жыл бұрынRiding the Alpine Slide at the Utah Olympic Park located near Park City, Utah. (Actually, it's much closer to Kimbal Junction than Park City.)
The track is over 1/2 mile in length and features 11 banked corners. The entire track is stainless-steel and features a shade canopy over the entire ride so the track doesn't get too hot in the sun.
It's about a 2 min ride down and was quite fun!

It's a bummer they put covers over the slide, the view was the best part

Ya - totally agree. But it is metal, so in the scorching Utah heat in the summer it would burn your skin off if you touched it.

Any idea how long the concrete one is compared to the quicksilver? Would prefer a longer ride to a shorter one, even if it is slower.

No idea, sorry. But, if Google Maps updates its imagery of the place in the coming here, I can map it out pretty accurately and will respond back here.

We just did it once. And no to the tube slides. We ran out of time for that.

haha. It wasn't the best Alpine Slide I have been on. It's alright if you are there, but I would say it's NOT a destination alpine slide. The other attractions are a blast though.
