I was really going back and forth between the Belize boots and the Alpinestars SMX 6 v2 Boots. Now looking back I may have gotten more control feel from the ladder, but I am none the less, happy with my final decision to go with the Alpinestars Belize boots. As I write this they sit at my feet next to my desk and man are they some good looking boots.
I just couldn't fathom wearing what looked like street bike boot on an adventure motorcycle. That's mainly why opted for the Belize boots. I ended up picking these boots up for a steal at $184 bucks. Now the price is much higher. At the end of the day you need to decide what works best for you and your style of riding. If you have the chance to try multiple pairs of boots on and walk a bit in them, I would suggest that for sure.

You are the first I have heard speak of the lack of feel for the controls. Thank you. I recently purchased a pair of boots and was very surprised at how much difficulty I had shifting on my initial ride. I got it sorted out but I wasn't expecting it.

Thank you for your review. I'm reviewing options from Alpine. V2, Radon, cr6 or belize. Im riding a Vstrom 650, 80% road 20% off. With your review my options are V2 or radon drystar both two.

Im glad it helped! Yeah I’m not sure I would buy these again. I’m actually selling them. I just don’t use them enough. They are to off road oriented .

Excellent Review. This boot ticks all the boxes I’m looking, mainly low to mid size with lateral support and good waterproofing. Can you share your feet size in Cm. Mine is 23+ around 24cm and usually UK 7 Nike’s fits me perfectly. Which size of this I should go with!?

Great review, thanks! But what got my attention was you comparing them with the Tech 7. I got the Belize and I love them, but I'm thinking about upgrading to the Tech 7 Enduro for more protection. I have a CRF300L and I'm an intermediate rider. So obviously I won't be doing fast and crazy MX stuff, but want to push my limits and learn more. Do you think the Belize are enough protection or should I get the Tech 7 Enduro? Thank you!

When I was racing motocross I preferred a taller boot. If your just doing trail riding the Belize should still suite you. This is a great on-road off-road boot. If I was only doing off-road I’d go tech 7

Nice video dude! I wanna ask is Any update for Belize all this 6 years? I found it was a little bit old for nowadays boots but it seems kinda suits me cos my legs are short and I wanna wear knees braces😂

Hey man, Thanks for the question. My take after a year. I honestly don’t wear them much. I really wanted a waterproof boot that looked cool for winter riding. In Europe it rains quite a bit in winter. BUT…..here’s the downside. The boot is too off-road focused for me. I used to love the tech 7s but I was racing motorcross. Now I’m not standing to shift on the street so the boot is far to rigid for my liking. Plus you can’t feel the shifter. There are better boots that are more touring focused that I would go for if I had to do it again. Knee braces are great! Especially off-road. I have a video about that. I hope this helps. What type of riding do you mostly do?

@@AmericanAbroad1In street mostly, sometimes I gonna ride to other towns but not off-road,I only use knee brace when I cross the towns, some bad roads among there. My knee brace is POD K8,it's quite long and big for those "high off road boots". Right now the boot I wear is Dainese Speed Master, I feel it's not convenient and quick enough for wearing, it's really hard to zip up and uncomfortable.(and waste time) So I don't know what to choose right now, I've been considered SMX Plus V2/Belize/SIDI Adventure 2 GTX mid. But not just limited in this three pairs, if u have better recommends pls tell me, I am completely confuse😂 Thanks for the relpy by the way!
