Skirk's hair piece looks like the narwhal's fins. Also, towards the bottom end of the hair piece, there's purple gems that reminds me of The Sinner and deshret. Furina's weapon looks like the oceanid wrapped around the narzissenkreuz

I feel like Skirk is more related to the abyss than celestia. Why? The little details. There is a bit of space looking stuff on her, if you look at the sleeves. Abyss is known for its space lookin stuff too, so the connection is easy to make. That and young Ajax met Skirk in an abyss.

Speaking of the ‘key’ you mentioned, when I first saw the trailer, I thought it was actually an anchor. I love how it cuts between Furina and the guillotine-esc key/anchor thing as it dropped. It brings thoughts of French Revolution and I’ve ALWAYS thought of Furina as a Marie Antoinette like figure. It’s absolutely magnificent.

Even tho skirk looks like she came from hi3, I can not unsee her hairpin as half a butterfly or crystalfly. It reminds me of seele from honkai star rail, and on top of that seele is of the quantum element and skirk is asociated with the abyss. Might be a red herring but it still gives me hope there will be new elements in the future Also if you slow down the clip of her reveal, you can see something dematerialize in front of her

i don't think the people of fontaine will die but i think they'll be dissolved into the waters just like the prophecy said. Only for Neuvillette to bring them back once his authority is returned to him from the gnosis by the end of the quest

Thinking on this more, it seems like in every nation we visited, the archons have always distanced themselves from their people, believing they shouldn't involve themselves with humanity or that humanity doesn't need them. Venti giving his people freedom, Zhongli allowing his poeple to govern themselves and going through lengths to witness them doing so. Well I'm not sure about Ei or Nahida so maybe this theory is poop. But seeing Furina trying to put herself in the spotlight in Fontaine, making sure all eyes see her and believe that she upholds justice, only to turn on her people and say the prophecy will be fulfilled and destroy her people. Is Focalor's plan to make the people believe that archons should not be accepted, that the world must move forward without the archon's power or authority? Vautrin and Neuvilette seem to be a parallel here, Vautrin questioned Neuvillete's judgement and put on a show so the people of Fontaine would recognize that Neuvillete was just and impartial, there's 400 years worth of witnesses to his good nature. If Focalor turns on her people and forces Neuvillete to intervene, that would allow the people to turn to the dragon for protection. The world belonged to the dragons in the first place and they don't seem to hate humanity, maybe the game will end in a way where the world is rid of archons and humanity shares the world with dragons

when furina/focalors is dancing, she has her black shorts instead of her white shorts which might indicate that it's her "other personality?" Her voice also seems slightly different during that scene, but it might be a scene from her story quest instead of the archon quest

It's a highly probable outcome that everything in Fontaine would stay as-is, otherwise a lot of gameplay mechanics would be destroyed due to in-game story events. But I hold a little hope that there is an alternative that Hoyo would go for instead, and they have done this before. Those who finished the Aranara quest would know exactly what I mean. Hopefully this question would jog your memory: Would you prefer staying in the dream, or reality? They can set Fontaine up as one big dream sequence, and Vanarana is just a place to test their engine on whether they can do it in a small scale, disguised as a story mechanic.

The key / sword / clock hand all bring to mind the sword of Damocles as well, and the idea that something terrible is looming of Fontaine and the people of Fontaine at all times. In that case, the falling of the clock hand is especially significant imagery.

What i'm getting from this trailer is that in the start the waters in fountaine start to rise the people start to panic knowing the prophecy is coming to pass and the people start to panic thats when the traveler and paimon help navia save posson during all of this navia falls about to hit the primordial sea when the traveler fails to save her arlecheeno then pops up to rescue her based on the image of the traveler and paimon with navia and arlcheeno then they make there way to the opera while arlcheeno goes to the main city during a trial in the apera the news starts to come to the apera epicless and people start asking for furinas help but she soon then stutters and doesn't know what to dopeople start to question her and shes being left on trial and it declared guilty and given the death sentance by the oratrice furina is stunned knowing whos in it and makes a proper judgement and trial when its over the primordial whale comes up from the ground and childe comes to stop it not wanting to hurt the people it leaves and were left with childe to talk to later on furina comes and ask for our help to stop the prophecy idk about the rest but likely all the people of fontaine will dissolve we fight the whale and the primordial sea gets to its og form of creating life and the floods stars to disappeare with the people of fontaine having the indivisual forms again

Because Furina as a playable character has both Fontaine energies, I'd wager that even though Focalors is sentenced to death, she somehow becomes absorbed by Furnia. Probably a method akin to the women that merged into an Oceanid. Totally agree that they are separate beings to begin though.

You probably heard about this by now but the voice that speaks about the prophecy right after Navia falls is actually Nicole "N" and not Furina or Focalors Also, the person crying when the Narwhal is being shown is Navia not Furina likely crying while the prophecy is playing out

Random reminder regarding the golden hall! Hadura, a member of the Schwanenritter who was killed by Anfortas Alberich, has the title "sentinel of the golden hall"

This is my theory; Could Skirk be one part of Focalors trapped in the abyss after “dying” in the desert as part of her became the Amrita pool and Khvarena? I think, as Skirk, she saw hope in Childe and chose to impart Abyssal insight she gained to him, knowing that one day she would have to move on. Neuvillette (the hydro dragon incarnate) who may have been given human form from Focalors (idk about this part), appears to be holding on to her hydro sovereignty atter she was split into pieces, and was assigned to take care of Furina. Another part of her is the immature Furina, and yet another part is the Oratrix (probably powered by her gnosis) left behind to tutor Furina and teach her right from wrong. I believe the Skirk part of her (along with the Oratirix) will sacrifice herself to avoid the cataclysmic flood headed towards Fontaine, and Neuvillette, after exhausting himself, will pass on the hydro sovereignty to Furina. I’m not exactly sure how the Fatui will acquire the Gnosis; this part of each region’s story has been incredibly random lol. Possibly, Focalors looks positively upon the Tsaritsa, or, while Fontaine is struggling during the climax of the flood and everyone is weakened, one of the harbringers (Dottore? Sandrone?) will swoop in and take it.

what mostly intrigued me was the polygon tail of the whale. Like she wasn't fully materialised. An unfinished visitor from a foreign dimension. I too, think Furina is distinct from foçalor, and probably an Oceanid figurehead. We saw lot of them the past months and discovered many life forms can assume human appearance or something totaly different. Physical body seems very plastic in Genshin.

I think that what you called the holy blade of Narzissenkreuz is simply the Doomsday clock striking midnight after the abyssal narwhal appears (the cracks it leaves behind are very similar to Rene's World Formula). Also I believe that the Boatman of Tsurumi island speaks of the Seelies and specifically the three moon sisters. The key you mentioned resembles a guillotine with oceanid elements near the top (personally I think that could be an allusion to Eageria committing original sin)

I'm still not convinced the three moon sisters don't have a part to play in all this. I have been dissuaded from the thought of the Goddess of Flowers being a moon sister, but mythology the game is based on suggests that there will be a moon sister tied to each realm, Celestia, Teyvat and the Abyss. The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles just makes sense for Celestia's. Teyvat's is still up in the air, but the strongest candidate is Paimon. Could Skirk perhaps be the abyssal moon sister? I suppose we might just find out.

imean they once before made a supposedly very anticipated character not playable in Signora but then made Scara and now Arlecchino (no way they would not push arlecchinos pyro vision in peoples face at every opportunity to not make her playable) while we havent seen Skirks model yet where she could be hiding a vision similar to Arlecchino or only later gain one like Scara and it being highly unlikely that a most definetly abyss entity would gain a vision we have seen with archons and now neuvilette that playable characters dont nessescarily need a vision to be playable (bro being the first playable pure elemental being) i just hope she is playable cuz she most definetly would have alot of hype as such an anticipated character and would sell decently well plus shes cute what more reasons do i need to want her playable
