What you call an "indicator hole" is actually the loading hole through which you load the BBs into the magazine. Take a BIC ball point pen, remove the ink tube, fill it with BBs and press it against the loading hole with the slider pulled all the way down. A fully loaded magazine in less than 5 seconds! ;)

Yes it is easier to load the BBs through the hole in the bottom of the magazine. However according to the Umarex Manual which comes with the pistol the BBs should be loaded from the top. Thanks for the tip about a BIC pen, I will try that.

That's what I do the clear 1s are best bics get 5 or 6 full em up with bb's new co2 bulb and let the fun begin 😉 🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿💪

Anyone who has had a real luger knows these parts are spot on and almost exactly the same take down process as the real thing

It's strange, when you see the lugers in the war movies, they always look much bigger than the replica bb pistols. I used to have one of these, and it felt tiny.

Load the BBs through the hole near the bottom of mag and you'll find it's MUCH easier than what you're doing.

Beautifully made pistol Alan. I didn't know any operational info on the Luger action and your explanation was very good. I fired a Browning in 9 mm at the range once. These replicas must cause the Police some concern given their appearance. We can't easily have them ib Oz like the UK, because of that aspect, yet the UK which is supposedly more strict in other areas of gun ownership can. Strange business. Enjoy. Cheers Rob

Hi Rob. I have several air guns made by Umarex and the quality is very good. Yes, the UK laws are very severe when it comes to firearms not so much with air guns. Cheers, Alan.

the 1911 isn't a blow back operated pistol it uses the barrel for lock up

Thanks for the correction. Technically the 1911 is a recoil operated pistol Although the slide is moved back by the expanding gases in the barrel.

What I want to know is- does the toggle work automatically after the first cocking? Or, do you have to manually operate the toggle for every shot

I have had the occasional leak from the valve. It doesn't do it all the time though.

You absolutley don't load the gun like that. The hole at the bottom you say is to see if a 'round is loaded' is the loading port you spoon.

I watched this them showed my Mrs the video I then took out my umarex 1 took out the mag and asked her how you load it bare in mind she has no clue and hates me collecting air guns boom 2 mins she she got it right
