I was always told to Stop Worrying About These Garbage English Teaching Companies while I'm abroad in Japan and while I have The Late Night Snack but they say Rosehappa and that Thanatos Instinct Rising would see me through. I always wondered how to get the best (teaching) Job I Japan and when Teaching English in Japan | What Is The Best Company.
When I lived in Chicago I wanted to bring the Midwest in the FarEast so I could see A Day in The Life of an ALT. but during the JET Program Interview: WHAT DID THEY ASK??? Things about: JET Program, ALT, Assistant Language Teacher, Japan, Japanese, Teaching in Japan, Teaching Japan, Teaching english in Japan, Teaching English Japan, Working in Japan, Working Japan, JET, Jack to Japan, Heart English Schools, Altia Central, Borderlink, AET, Interac, AEON, Nova, Abroad in Japan, Update, daily life of an alt, life of an english teacher" ,"english teacher in japan" ,"teacher in japan", Japan Vlog, Borderlink Japan, alt in Japan, alt Japan, filipino english teacher in japan, interac japan, and the japan border update? or no?

Very helpful video! I've been looking at applying as an ALT with my husband. Sadly I haven't found any ALT companies that do combined applications so we'll just have to apply and note in our application that we'd like to be placed near each other so we can live together >< I noticed some of the companies help you get an apartment and you pay the key money. Does that mean the apartment will be ours and not under the school? We used to work in Korea so the schools usually controlled your apartment so you'd have to move out if you changed where you worked. We just want to get our own apartment since we want to settle in Japan for a long time (10-30yrs). Thank you~!
@Jack_to_Japan
@Jack_to_Japan 4 ай бұрын
I am not married so I cannot help you with the whole joint application process, but in terms of Apartments, you are subleasing from the the Company. The school doesn't have a say in where you stay, unless there is something in the contract you sign that dictates that. It is important to read the contract and remember that the Japanese contract takes precedence over the English one.

I used to work with Interac, the salary is low. 215,000 monthly. Deductions are: - Employment insurance - Tax - Social insurance - Pension Your actual salary: 188,000 to 193,000. Too low for me, I used to work with them for like 1 and a half? Every month of Springs they have this called "half pay day" that's the trashiest thing. Yup, they know what they are doing. I would say working for them for one year is enough. They are pretty much only there to get you to japan and give you a livable wage until you figure something else out. if you can get a better paying job or a different job all together, you're going to be better off.
@Retog

@@Jack_to_Japan that’s a common myth, there isn’t anything “better” after getting to Japan unless you have high level Japanese and some other skills. It’s either a livable wage but terrible hours at an Eikaiwa or the opposite for ALT. If you have good Japanese and some skills though, these teaching companies are good for a visa.
