Love the fact that they didn't play the songs that have achieved commercial success, they played the songs that sound amazing live and make the most of the boys epic harmonies. ( also my two favorite tracks off an awesome wave :)

To the person who disliked this: Go to your room and think about what you've done. We're all very disappointed in you.

on their facebook page, they say "alt-J (∆)’s name takes a little explaining. Pronounced “alt-J”, the delta sign is created when you hold down the alt key on your computer keyboard and punch ‘J’ on a Mac computer. The symbol has a deeper meaning for the band, as guitarist/bassist Gwil Sainsbury notes, “in mathematical equations it’s used to show change,” and the band’s relatively new name came at a turning point in their lives." i think it's a great name once you know the backstory...

Nail Noonan, there is something on the camera called zoom. He could be 15 feel away and get a close up shot of their faces. The camera operators of La Blogotheque Take Away Shows are some of thee best I have seen. Yes I have seen many different styles of filming, these ppl are some of the best. I love this band, soo awesome!

I love the old judgemental man in the back towarsa the end. His nod of approval and general enjoyment of the music is wonderful. You can totally tell with his nod as he walks away, there is an internal "they are good kids ❤"

I don't think anybody around them realises quite how magic what they've experienced is. Yet somehow this is what makes it all the more special.

Alt-J are fantastic, they suit the French lifestyle and atmosphere very well, and their music captivates everyone around them. A truly great band.

Joe is one of those rare natural performers that actually sound better live than they do recorded. Incredible.

They have a fascinating purity - no b.s., no "flash" -- just pure music. Love it.
