Ive been listening to this over and over for years, and one thing I love about this version of Miracles is how it's changed meanings for me. at a more innocent time in my life, the words "do you really wanna go back in time?" was a saying of hope, that if I really wanted to and work for it, I could recreate the joys of simpler times. These days it sounds doubtful, almost sarcastic. "Do I REALLY want to go back in time?" am I really so conceited as to believe that there is any way to regain what I've lost, and the person I once was? can I REALLY delude myself a second time into believing that my happiness was real and that summer would last forever? maybe some day I can really go back in time. the question is whether there is even a point, or if it is better to just let it go.

This song randomly came back in my recommendations and it took me back to 5 years ago. I met a guy and we bonded over both really liking this song, which was so random.
