Great sound. I'm a fan of RTF as a group and its members individually. I still reel when I think of Chic's passing. I look at RTf as the jazz version of EWF. They are so eclectic and similar in their performances. They were even on the same record label and their names just sound so grand, dignified, and majestic.

These cabinets are way too small for the 605a. The original were 30x33x21inch and were already too small.

Too fast attenuation of the plates (no post-sounding), wrong timbre (I hear hissing instead of ringing). Surface low frequencies. Good attack. Reliable middle (on pianos). That's what I could hear in my headphones. It's a subjective opinion.
