I've always loved the audio test portions of these videos because what I'm hearing is 100% my phone speakers. Unless, of course you're trying to see if there's any distortion coming out of it then yes my phone's speakers will pick that up.. But I'm sure it sounds good in real life. Thanks for the review on all the other functions and lights of it though. It was very informative. I'm going to pick one up now.

love mine use at machine shop low range but not a problem i’m with in 60 ft all the time

I got two of them to pair up in stereo mode But sometimes they echo alot ? Anyone know why ?

Is yours from a different region say like Canada cuz my hydromini looks completely different, mine's all black and has the altec Lansing logo on the back, that one looks really cool with the blue back and the everything proof logo

At full volume, how long does the battery of this speaker last?

This speaker doesn't have a woofer, that's a passive radiator next to the speaker.

Is the volume high? If I listen to music at high volume, how long does the battery last? Do you really recommend it?

Generally speaking at 100%, in a moderately sized area it's pretty loud, but soon as you are in a noisy environment it doesn't get loud enough for to the size. And at 100% volume, it would maybe last you anywhere from say 2 to 3 hours

How to tell when it is fully charged? And does it Bluetooth connect even though it is not fully charged? I.e., does it have to be fully charged to use Bluetooth? I can't get my Altec to connect to my iPhone even though, yes, phone Bluetooth is ON. So ... ???

I guess you can try reconnecting because I've never had that problem before but hopefully you fix yours.

Yes. NO AUX INPUT for those who can't hear the 40 years of the Degration of Music. I couldn't take Bluetooth earbuds anymore and walk around with my Music Studo Quality wired Headphones, but I still have no choice but to listen to digital music... losing all the quality of live or analog recorded music. I love how they put that American Flag saying designed in the USA...and built in China... I found the design specs. Plastic box, cheapest amp, NO WIRE INPUT? Geezus, music is going to AI, and musicians are going to broke. Younger people will never know what listening to Altec's brother JBL on a REAL 100-watt amp! 😢
