One thing I forgot to mention in the review is the Bluetooth distance capability Outdoors it's an easy 100ft with clear line of sight. Indoors, the basement test through 2 walls at about 65 ft the Mini LifeJacket Jolt had some stuttering and break up issues. At about 50 ft through 2 walls it did fine.

I have this one along with the larger lifejacket jolt, the super lifejacket xl, and the older mini lifejacket. I had an extra mini lifejacket and wanted to test how strong it was. It survived five 20ft drops onto concrete, tossed out of a car window twice at 60 o a highway, it also survived water tests, and it got ran over twice. The second time running it over broke it pretty good and one speaker is jammed but it still works!! I'm super impressed and I highly recommend this brand. You really can't beat the durability.

01:40 To get into plastic box use fingernail or scissors to cut clear tape that is on each side and possibly the back. It's on strong but comes off easily after the initial separation.

happy owner of a mini Jolt and the bigger Jolt with Qi - both are lighted - love them and can't say enough ... the mini was my first wireless speaker - just blew me away with the sound quality vs size, the design and lights, and that handy power-bank feature; you get a couple of charges for your phone, some great sound at a decent volume, all in a good but deceptively small looking package - what more is there to ask for!

Hey man I just wanted to let you know that that case is used for putting the device in in an enclosed case it changes the speakers sound as subwoofers wood in an enclosed 12 inch speaker box

Nice spidey blanket haha... Do you think it will do okay if mounted on an All Terrain Vehicle? I know those vehicles can get loud... so not sure how louder the speaker can be.... Good review.

Might not be loud enough. I'm also not sure hf these types of mounts are durable enough to be beat up off roading.

Altec Lansing is better then JBL the altec Lansing super life jacket jolt is very good and very good bass it’s 200$ well worth it if you want a speaker It has 2 usb to plug in any thing also goes for like 45 hours well worth it the mini is good to

If you are experiencing excursion noise then you have a hole in the speaker some place. It should be a completely sealed speaker with no air escaping.

If they still make this Lifejacket Jolt it's a pretty solid small speaker. The Bogasing M5 is another good option and it's ipx7 waterproof. Check out my short video I did on the Bogasing and there is a link to Amazon in the description

The Jacket H20 4 is a cheaper model than the Mini Lifejacket Jolt. I don''t know all the differences, but the Jolt has lights and a USB-A port for charging, both of which the H20 4 lack. The Jolt also has a thick rubber outer casing around it. The battery life on the Jolt is also longer.
