Jbl Extreme 3 vs Altec Lansing Hydrashock

This is a speaker battle between the Jbl extreme 3 and the altec lansing hydrashock, these speakers are fun and both sound pretty dang great!!! let me know what you guys think in the comments down below.

I just bought the altec and it sounds great I had a jbl boombox and the sound is amazing but they are very expensive and this altec for its price sounds great and I can take it to work without worries Because it won't hurt my pocket since it's very cheap

I agree, the altects really sound pretty dang good and much cheaper than jbl, I love jbl but the price is insane for there speakers

@@Jagistreviews It is correct and with that price of 500 dollars here in Mexico I can hire a DJ with professional sound, with a dance floor, lights and animation shows for about 5 hours 🤣🤣

The JBL Extreme 3 spanks the Altec-Lansing Hydrashock. It's like no contest. However the Extreme 3 is considerably more expensive. Considering that the Mifa Wildbox (with upgraded firmware) gives the Extreme 3 a good run for the money, and can be had for around the same price (or slightly more) than the Hydroshock, I wonder how they would compare?

Agreed the extreme 3 kicks most speakers ass in the same size category, the HydraShock is good for 360 degrees sound but not great for head to head, like only half the speakers are faced me in this battle since they are on both sides of the speaker, I want to get a mifa soon

I have the hydrablast right now (its just a beefier version of the shock) but i just ordered a jbl i have high hopes because they own altec

Altec isn't the best with certain speakers, it's a ok budget speaker but yes the extreme is better all around but for 300$ or more it's very expensive

Agreed, jbl sounds the best for sure, altec is cheaper and 360 degree speaker so its got some cool stuff going for it

A true comparison would have been standing the Altec Lansing on end with both sets of speakers facing out. JBL is actually muddy.

True, I did kinda do that at the end and it made it more even, jbl a bit louder, with better bass, the altec lansing better highs
