I’m not sure I understand the power levels on Halo: CE weapons. It only takes a few slashes of the energy sword to kill a Reach Hunter, but it takes 50 million billion trillion needler rounds?

I think it probably has something to do with that the CE energy sword was never really meant to be used against the covenant but rather just an OP one hit kill on the player so it’s just super unbalanced

Halo CE needlers also do like 25% or 50% to hunter flesh and less than that to their armor.

games weapons hardy ever do canon damage otherwise the Covenant would always crush you so easily it would be like playing legendary LASO all the time, marines would die in just 1 or 2 shots, the magnum wouldn't be that powerful in either compare to the other weapons its only the best headshot weapon in CE cause its in a sandbox devoid of many headshot weapons the only other being the sniper rifle.

well think about it this way, blamite blows you up from the inside and doesn't do that much damage on surrounding targets, so it will kill one worm and the rest will get some burns and a concussion at most. Compare that to shoving a thousand degree sword through many worms at once.

6:50 Seeing 1 Halo Reach Hunter fight and kill 2 CE Hunters is really strange to watch to me. Mainly because Halo CE takes place just 2 weeks after the Pillar Of Autumn escapes Reach, so the differences in strength, size, and appearance are strange because of that fact. I guess all of the Reach hunters binged the Halo TV show during their 2 week chase and lost morale after, creating the smol CE hunters. xD

Old concept art. Halo 2 art book actually shows it, but originally, the Elites were supposed to wield actual shields like the Jackals.

Just think fellas this is as good as it ever will get in terms of AI and fighting fun and interesting enemies. Game developers today are so far detached from reality. Figuring out the best way to extract money from the player base is number one priority today; Not innovation and creativity.
