NOTE: This charges wirelessly when attached to my iPad Air 4the gen. No need for the included cable.

Just bought one today. Works perfectly like in the video although mine does charge wirelessly from the side on my iPad 11 M2 Pro. Thus, I don’t use the cable at all.

After days of reviewing what Pencil I should buy for my iPad, I decided for a cheap one. And then tried original Apple Pencil 2. Honestly, just for handwriting + simple block sketches, I couldn't feel or see any difference. And things like pressure or tilt sensors - I couldn't spot any difference between these two. My recommendation would be - unless you're going to do real drawing, don't go crazy, it's not worth the money.

@@Fatcat157 "Recommend" is perhaps a bit too big word... I have something which was sold as "TECH-PROTECT DIGITAL STYLUS PEN iPad" - white colour, USB-C charging. After 3 years of light to moderate use - still functioning.

LonBall I also got have the 2018 iPad Pro. I have the true pencil. I enjoy the pressure element. It’s worth it.

I got 20$ one from aliexpress, it charges wirelessly with the ipad!! Which was the selling point for me For standard writing and note taking it is just prefect, i already broke one original pencil and lost another one, buying expensive stuff just not worth it , and for my use case didn’t see any difference except that no double tap for eraser + it gets warm after charging, both not dealbreaker

Like the nub on one end…..not able to charge via the iPad and a price of $ 80. Big deal breaker

I use Windows 10's Bluetooth battery meter\level feature to check if my headphones need recharging. Can Windows tell me how much juice is left on this stylus?

This is only compatible with the iPad

@@LonSeidman LOL, I understand that part because you did an excellent job in the video. But since it's Bluetooth maybe Windows by sheer luck will connect to it just sufficiently so as to give the battery level info. Sometimes I wonder which of my headphones has enough juice to take outside without worry, and I use Windows for a quick confirmation that the Bluetooth device has a nice charge. I suspect it won't work because of a driver issue. I just hate not knowing how much charge a device has left!
