About the Metroid manga, the truth is even better. It isn't that her gender was a mystery. That panel was a part of a "promotional video" that Samus did for herself. She chose to be portrayed like a cool action man that get all the ladies. It's from "Victory Techniques for Metroid", a half manga half strategy guide

This implies there was at least one character off-screen who was actively trying to fight the compulsion after Mickey showed up in his Sorcerer's Apprentice get-up. I want to see the character fighting personalities between stereotypical buff manly dude and stereotypical effeminate camp gay back and forth like the climax to Eddie Murphy's Nutty Professor movie while Mickey just watches and waits for his will to be done. 1:00 - Actually yes: In Luke, chapter 2 verses 41-52, we get a story where, at age twelve, Jesus is accidentally left behind in Jerusalem (they were part of a major Caravan with Joseph's family, so they assumed he was with their relatives for a couple days... It was a big caravan), and when they made it back, they found him chatting things up at the temple, amazing all the teachers with his knowledge of the Torah. And when Mary and Joseph started getting on to him about the scare he put them through, his response was "How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?"

This is true and I love that passage but I always wondered why it basically skipped ahead to Jesus being like 30 after that without any more about what he was like as a teenager, we know he got trained as a carpenter but that's about it. At the age that most of us Christians wear WWJD bracelets religiously (pun intended), we have NO IDEA what Jesus would have done.

@@arandomstartreknerd7261 Given how the entire point of Jesus is that he never sinned, I imagine the takeaway is that, the one incident aside, he lived a very boring life growing up. Either that or all the other stories are repeats of this one in that they all involve Jesus astounding everyone with his knowledge and wisdom, so Like just didn't bother writing them down.

Blink-and-you'll-miss-it instances of LGBT representation in Disney movies that are done so Disney can get press and claim "we're being progressive!", but done in ways that can be easily edited away so that movie markets less friendly to LGBT people (example: China, where American movies can make a lot of money) are still willing to screen them. Examples include: A pair of girlfriends in Finding Dory. LeFou in the live-action Beauty & the Beast Nameless gay man at therapy session in Avengers: Endgame. Two women kissing near the end of The Rise of Skywalker. Police officer who mentions a girlfriend in Onward.

Wrong. My favorite ship is Percabeth and niether is me or my type. Fun fact though, I did wake up one day and realize that Percy is basically my dad and Anabeth is basically my mom. 1:03 There a “gospel” that was written (albeit seen as utter nonsense) describing incidents such as Jesus being blamed for a friend dying after falling from the top ledge of the home, only to the resurrect their friend who then mentions they had fell off. I think there was also one where he got yelled at for using his powers to smite several bullies, who his mom then demands he revives.

So since into the Spiderverse deals with alternate timelines, the post posits that Miles and Gwen would have different versions of our memes, and we assume Peter B has our memes. So "Weird flex, but OK" is "Freaky flex, but alright" in Gwen's universe and "Strange flex, but cool beans" in Miles: functionally the same, but with different words. The difference is so small it might seem like they're mis-remembering, or in Peter B's case, question if they remembered correctly.
