We dropped T-Mobile when this enforcement change was announced. We are currently trying Connecten for $139 a month. We used it last week in our RV 360 miles from home and it was fine. We are currently using it at home and so far so good. The wi-fi worked great in our RV but we went ahead and wired it to our TV at home. So far so good. Plan on cutting the cord here at home. Will save $250 per month on the at home service. $139 plus $80 for KZfaq TV will get us in at $229 for both home and away.

I have had the T-Mobile Home Internet for several years. It works quite well at the house, which IS in an approved area. I also bring it with me while I travel in the RV. It has worked almost everywhere we have been but usually at lower speed. If T-Mobile notifies me that I can no longer do this I plan to cancel my service and switch to Starlink. T-Mobile has reneged on a number of promises and raised rates when my plan was supposedly rate locked so I am not feeling good about them right now.

I switched to the ATT $80 business plan, and I'm not very happy with it. With TMHI, speeds ranged from ok during congested periods to just as good as home during quiet hours. ATT tops out at "ok" to practically unusable at seemingly random times, and I'm not in the sticks either... Equipment: TMHI device was modded to connect to Parsec 5g antenna, ATT sim inserted in Peplink router connected to same Parsec antenna.

I've moved my TMHI just under 2 hours awY from my home address, no issues. Returned within 24 hours tho.

What do y'all think about the FMCA plans? I signed up for the Tech Connect Max plan using T-Mobile having unlimited data and could throttle after 100 gigs. Thank you for all y'all do.

Travelfi just advertises a 5G router/modem. Have you all had a chance to review it? Is it still cheap and not have many options for networking? Same issue with the eSIM tech you mentioned in this live?
@MobileInternetResourceCenter2 ай бұрын
We have not reviewed it, and it does not appear the 5G option is multi-carrier like their LTE plans.

Thanks for the video! Calyx advertises no throttling on their website with unlimited data. Did you find the "priority and throtttling" in their fine print? Maybe they haven't updated their website? Thank you in advance.
@MobileInternetResourceCenter3 ай бұрын
There is no throttling on the plan.. deprioritized data just might be slowed down during times of congestion. The terms are on their master agent's (Mobile Citizen) site.

We talked to Xfinity and they said we have used an average of 400gb a month of usage. We have 2 ring doorbells, home security a tv with streaming (Netflix, KZfaq and KZfaq TV, etc) 2 iPads and two phones and we just want to have coverage everywhere we go. We are not boondockers out in the middle of nowhere. That is what we are looking for in a mobile coverage. Any ideas?
