Would love to compare the Showbox to the Everse 8 but it is heavier and larger than the EV so for my use no need to upgrade. EV has the far superior App but Mackie has multiple inputs and the breakaway mixer. Would like to A/B the sound. In the past I have found EV to have a cleaner high end.

Great combination for playing full range tracks. Someone commented the Alto has weak preamps for mics. Not sure your application.

True, I was about to purchase but 31 lbs is not portable PA for my purposes. Still can't compare to dedicated subwoofer performance.

You have the most information on this busker! Can you confirm the battery is replaceable? Nobody seems to have covered this. That's potentially $300-$400 lost when it stops holding a charge.

10:55 It's because you have cheap db meter and measure pa speakers with dbA curve. For this level you should use dbC curve and of course you need to have your db meter calibrated. This curves represents how people's ears perceive differend frequencies at differend loudness level and at low level you need a lot more bass to perceive it to be at the same level as mids and highs. So the dbA curve compensates for this. You can read about it. Another thing is that db meters under 100$ are not accurate. Apart from that I appreciate your work.

14:40 This sub is very narrow in this position if they put a pole mount on top of it. It will flip over very easily with the high placed speaker

buy Proel v12free, it has a 12-inch speaker. and the sound pressure is higher. Why create so many details?)

Next time you compare sounds, please do it on the fly instead of commentating in between. Do this several times, go back and forth to give the listener plenty of opportunities to hear the difference.
