Alton Towers Resort - Nemesis Unused Extened Queue Tour Rare Shots 2012 (1080p)

We take you on a tour of the unused Nemesis queue line which was the original queue line. Please note permission was asked via a member of staff to access this area. Rare shots can be taken including the first lift hill and looking into the pit where the beast lies. If you would like to access this area just ask a member of staff on the gate of the entrance of Nemesis.

Hell, you have no idea what us roller coaster enthusiasts get up to. I would DREAM of going into this section of the queueline! It is hardly ever used and some sections have not been used since 1994! The views are amazing as well!

They opened a bit of the extended queue when I went in 2013! They used the bit at the entrance where you go uphill instead of down and past the old queue line kiosk! We saw the old/original Nemesis entrance sign too!

If anyone is going to say we broke into the queue line then we did ask permission to the staff member at the entrance.

I used that queue a few years ago during a bank holiday. 3 hour wait for the ride.

When we went it was 3.5 - 4 hours, that whole zigzag section was used, and there were extra extensions at the start (where Sub Terra is) and from the top of the stairs by the station, right round the top of the stall turn (where Galactica lift hill is now) until you were on the other side of the loop directly above the loop, you then 180'd back and finally got to board

I know all to well what roller coaster enthusiasts get up to. I worked there for a couple of seasons. Maybe Im just jaded to the whole queue as we had to clean the fucker every evening.

It's because the queue line also creates a memory albeit a little less exiting after hours. I remember queueing this part in 1994 however it still looks unfamiliar as back then the valley was just like a quarry. now its full of trees and vegetation. if you had a photo from where this video is taken back in1994 you would think its a different ride . When the rides become less popular the line is not required and usually the areas are left abandoned. but the memory of using them doesnt.

I waited three and a half hours in the behind the loop queue line when it first opened. It hadn't broken down, there was always trains going around, bit it was that busy. Got really burnt from the sun in that queue. Good times
