I absolutely love the Alu-Cab truck camper system. If you own a pickup truck this is the best way to go. One of my favorite features is the awning. I love how it wraps around the vehicle and I love how easy it is to deploy and put away. The other vehicle based camping sleeping system that I find absolutely brilliant is the Ursa Minor J30 for Rubicon Jeep Wranglers. If you own a Jeep I think the Ursa Minor is the best way to go but as far as truck camping goes, the Alu-Cab is the best!

@@patrick35400 I don’t know the exact price but both camping systems are pretty expensive. Again, I think the cost is worth it if you’re an avid outdoorsman/ camper.

Love it. Very practical. I had a similar set up with a Candy, Carry me camper on a Land Rover Defender 130, but this looks a lot better. A lot more expensive I imagine, but very well thought out.

Go to the website. No prices listed. Download the brochure. Scroll through a few items, also with no prices. Find a price. No that’s no it. That’s for an awning. Page 11. Finally find a price. Just shy of $20k. Probably worth it. Then again. You can buy a lot for 20k and that’s a lot of fuel if you’re prepared to swag it.

Coolest thing is that awning, but also the bed is open to putting other things in it, like elk or deer after harvesting them for the trip home. OK maybe the shower surround too...

🤣🤣🤣 If you’re in the USA, then why not support Ford, GMC, Ram? You guys have the best trucks & SUVs; zero reason to buy foreign … even if they assemble in the States. I’d love a Ford Raptor or Bronco; even a Jeep Gladiator or Wrangler, but petrol is about $6 per equivalent to gallon here. Toyota??? 🤣🤣🤣 Are you serious?

Well let's be fair here. You get a tent, and weather sealed storage area. Backup water supply. One of the best awnings on the market. Can be dropped into a sweet 4X4 truck and go places no camping trailer could ever be pulled to. And, you can pull your boat or whatever toys you want. So yeah, it's expensive but most things that are this specialized and not mass produced will be. Heck, look at the offroad camping trailers and they will run you 2-3 times as much.

@@Yes-hf6cw I agree, this stuff is expensive. I’ve done a great deal of research into what I want to buy. I’ve been watching what the various companies come out with for a few years now, and I can’t find a single quality product that is reasonably priced. The reason why? Well, it’s mainly because of the low volume and you are buying quality with Alu-Cab. Combine these two and you end up with $$$$

Me during the video: "Wow looks good, such wow, wow really, I want this" Me looking at the price for it: "$9,499+ ummmm I'd rather pay a little extra for a camper trailer and tow it or fabricate my own Alu-cab for cheaper or on par for price including an inverter setup for off grid electricity and running the hot shower" Easily could of made and sold this at the 5 or 6k mark materials wise

An absolute piss take. Ironman says $19630.00 AUD . (What you are showing there with the options, runs at $23K ) Can't understand how that works when a canopy is $4.3k and a Roof top tent is $5.6k What the, who the, how the hell did that happen?..... It's not even a lift off. So its on all the time

Gosh that's too expensive. Guess the price hike reason is R&D. But what replicas do is copy everything these people have put in on R&D and sell it cheap. Now alucab should keep prices at a reasonable rates especially as years pass on.
