Be sure to use stainless steel brush to clean the base metal, as mild steel brush will contaminate and reduce the bonding of the aluminum.

Put t at bottom so you could just push it down like a shovel

Cleaning aluminum always brush in one direction, never back and forth or side to side. Pro tip.

Thanks for another great video. I got me some aluminum rods a few months ago. Haven’t played with them yet. Video was very helpful. Good looking rod holder.

I used to duck tape a piece of pvc pipe to a piece of rebar. Quick and easy. Also, if u let the rebar stick past the pvc a quarter inch you have a place to hammer it in the ground.

You should add a foot peg to it then you can just push it into the ground with your foot.
