This was a fucking roller coaster of emotion holy shit. That poor girl. Ends up being betrayed by the one adult that was ever nice to her, only to be saved by her bitch of a grandma who went out like a boss after doing the right thing. Then to lose her mom in her arms..? Wow. At least she knew that her grandma truly loved her. And obviously her mom did. But i don’t understand - you don’t get LIFE for manslaughter. They must’ve convicted her of murder? She should’ve pled down to manslaughter and would’ve been free in like five years in the US. Idk w out korea

In fact, in the US or in Europe she wouldn't be considered ugly. If this movie somehow reflects the real life in Korea, then it seems that the society is cruel and superficial. It could be advised to Koreans who feel excluded to migrate to another country.

South Korea at some point was given the title of being the capital of plastic surgery. Similar to Japan they also ended up developing one the highest "self ending" rate in the world as well.

When asked "Which Mother?", the only reply is "Yes". Literally every single Mother in this thing was a villain in one regard or another. Honestly, that was one hell of a ride over the last 49 minutes. Even with all the convoluted plots, overlapping scenes with perspective shifts, the absolute mindf@ckery that occurred and the bittersweet somewhat unsatisfying ending...I don't regret spending that 49 minutes of my life watching this. That somewhat unsatisfying ending feels right for this story, in a way I simply can not describe. Like if there were a perfectly happy ending of true redemption for everyone in it; Then, it would be even more unsatisfying in a far more negative way. It's mind-blowing how this story came together so well and concluded so perfectly. Whom ever wrote this is a genius that edges that border of insanity a tad closer than others.
