I think that the attraction to young, “quirky”, weird, librarian girl is that the books that she may read create a deeper understanding of human emotions. And I think this combined with the quiet environment is enticing to lonely people. This genre of Asmr seems like the loneliest most desperate corner of this lonely and desperate community. I listen to these videos and am swept away with sorrow, only the best wishes for your future. From writer to reader.

Idk if any aspect of these book interests are from your actual experience, but Animorphs is actually a really good series that’s supposed to be for kids but handles a lot of adult themes as well. I’d recommend it 100%
