Hey Ally, it would be super cool if you did a series on diffrent styles done differently for each the kibbe types. Like how to do Goth, boho, resort wear etc to suit the types. Anyway just an idea. Love your work.

My first job out of design school was with a millinery manufacturer! I always felt the most creative designing hats. After blocking a hat, sometimes I would end up wearing them backwards. I wear hats every day when I walk. I have most of the styles you’ve shown in this video...and a few you didn’t mention. I love fascinators and veiled cocktail hats. Great video!💋💋

I'm a romantic with ingenue and romantic essence and I have to say that newsboy hats always look good on me. I love wearing those. Fedoras and trilby hats also look good.

I love cloche hats. I have several felt ones in neutral colors and straw. For me they are practical but stylish because in the cold weather they keep me warm and don't mess up my hair. In the summer, they protect my scalp and face from the sun. In the winter I wear beanies in my house to stay warm and even wear one to bed. I loved this video!

I wear a Trilby hat nearly every day. It's instant style, no fussing with the hair required. lol I get so many compliments on them. I have about 25 of them. Even if I'm a hot mess, I put on the hat and somehow it all just comes together and elevates.

I miss the glories of the "fascinator." It used to be a common accessory for any occasion requiring a cocktail dress or ballgown and they sported lovely short veils. Sigh. Aside from the English royals, nobody wears them anymore. It is a sad diminishment to feminine frivolity, IMHO. Lovely content, thanks!

Turbans and hip hop can definitely go together, for bohemian, or artistic hip hop vibes - Adding a decent sized hoop earrings or sunglasses give a turban extra attitude The final examples look like wraps worn to keep textured/curly hair protected!

I'm a cliche TR... so I love my Spanish Cordovan hat, jewelled velvet/silk turbans, Spanish-style berets and Russian fur Ushanka. I also love my handmade Australian outback Akubra hat 😁 I live in Melbourne so get hot dry summers and tons of icy, wet weather. Perfect for hat-wearers/fashionistas! Lol. Great video btw too Ali. I’m obsessed with my mariner’s hat and my beret. They both elevate every outfit that I wear and add a personal touch. Hats are really underrated.btw I’m a soft natural.

I love hats. I have 6 different styles that I wear regularly (though some seasonally) and I've just ordered 3 more. The hats that I find I can't wear due to face shape are the cloche and the bucket. The ones I won't wear are the cowboy and the boss of the plains because I live in Western Canada and don't want to be associated with the cultures that go with them.

This was very good video, the only thing that was missing from beret history is speaking about the Basque shepherds and how they originally made berets. There are different types of basque berets too. They were making and wearing them in the 1800s before the French military adopted it.
