I'm sure someone has told you by now, but if you're playing with a Playstation controller, if you press Triangle + L1 while on your horse, you will use your left weapon (in this case the staff). Be aware however that when you will get off from Torrent, you will be "two-handling" your Staff.

Alyce wait till you meet the final boss of the DLC. Don't bring more than one NPC. That makes the boss super difficult.

24:19 actually since its an ancient one its not that bad, imagine at the top of that tower was a smithing stone 1, that wouldve been super troll. there are for sure chests in the dlc with like smithing stone 5 or something in them, its so bad
