I'm gonna be honest, I owned a 2003 husky cr125, it's actually the bike that I took my last ride on(mangled my shifter foot) and this thing is brilliant. Mine had promotion suspension and a few other small mods, lectron carb, fmf shorty, and a few other odds and ends. I've ridden a few 125s and 250s, and even a 450 four stroke but the husky was by far the best fit for me. It's really awesome seeing one done up like this though. Absolutely beautiful.

If I'm not mistaken Steve Lamson also raced this bike briefly back in the early 2000's in both supercross and the outdoor nationals. Despite it's trick appearance Steve didn't have much luck racing both the 125 and the 250 that year.

He did 2001 and 2002 he tested Chiodi’s works 125 and coopers works 250 in Italy I believe but the production rule meant the US bikes were OEM bikes with factory parts bolted on not quite the same, also Eraldo had to make the parts and sell them to the public there were lots of other factors too, the faulty 2001 swing arms the UK team spent a day grinding and rewelding a batch to stop the cracking not sure FBF did that, they were road race mechanics not really used to getting dirty, the factory sent a suspension tech over for a couple of days I was told to teach the team to set up a completely foreign suspension he should have been there for a month testing and getting set ups dialled in really to give them the best shot a shame really they looked real trick though

I also remember seeing Chiodi racing this 125 at the Southwick motocross national that same year. Unfortunately he didn't have much luck in the overall results.

Always loved the Husky 125 2000 - 2005. Real design classic of the time, the styling paved the way for the wrap around shrouds that every bike has now. Darryl Bolter was a legend on that bike in UK Enduro and WEC. Nice work Sonny on keeping the Italian Husky flag flying.

I love seeing pro bike seats cut out like that, it’s such a pleasant reminder that it’s ok to be…🤔…short. 😂🤣😂🤣. I mean that, I am short, and every single last motocross bike I raced had to have a cut seat foam and wood blocks to stand on at the gate . Just kidding, I could never bring myself to using my sons wood starting blocks at the gate..😂🤣😂. But the seat foam, serious as a heart attack my friends 🤣
