Blackness as an identity is an extremely flawed concept . Race as a skin colour is doomed to fall apart , ethnicity is real ,race is not.

I don't know how to explain how this interview felt for me, there is some anointing that came with it. I just listened to it this morning and after listening I had the urge to pray. Then the song Goodness of God played in my head, and I listened to it all the way to work. I don't know why, but I feel that it will make sense soon.

I really like what Mpoomy said about the journey being their source of happiness because there is a saying that goes "Success is not the destination rather its the journey" basically that's true because we are mostly amazed at how far we have come and how much work we put in even if its little just to get to our goal than when we get there. Once you get to the goal its a matter of "okay i got it , now what? . To Ama I hope and pray that you keep being the Rose that grows in the soil full of thorns but still lives just to prove to the young and old that you don't need to change who you are just because of influence around you. Stay grounded and keep doing you, for your "You" version is perfect in our eyes. Much Love P.S: Sorry for the long comment ♥
