Chloe learnt to play the piano at 2.5-years-old and started playing the violin at 4-years-old. Her mother, who is a music educator, shared that she initially exposed her daughter to music so that she can discover beauty in life. Chloe practices the violin for 5 hours every day. While her parents see her musical talent, they were surprised by her obsession with music at such a tender age.

I mean as a musician i feel music is about creating and having opinions. Maybe some came off aggressive but it is still their opinion and that is how music should be. If we all liked this and we all thought this was perfect there would be no diversity and diversity is the best thing about the music community.
@jtcye11623 жыл бұрын
I believe real musicians can be the most critical because they actually know what they are talking about. You are using critical and criticism like it's something negative but it is really not. I mean, a passionate musician would rather hear more criticism than not.
@nukesakuji3 жыл бұрын
I mean.. not really lol. Some criticisms here definitely makes sense as a musician. Especially the ones pointing out the rushing of the orchestra and kinda fighting against each other cuz I did hear it, too, before reading the comments. It's not saying that it was horrible, it just would've been a little nicer if this wasn't the case. They're not discounting how great Chloe or the overall orchestra still played.

She's different from many of the other prodigies She has a core modesty, dignity and poise that are very appealing, and already she is playing music of different eras and styles with an impressive understanding of the musical architecture of the pieces, whether it is baroque, classical or romantic. Is this a whole peice or 3 peice of art. I want to study the 2nd part. Not sure if it has a different name.
@amaiiala8438 Жыл бұрын
@@ernsmile579 I am not entirely sure but it is most likely one whole piece, that’s normally how it’s written when a violinist has a solo within an entire orchestra
@jackburgess27411 ай бұрын
@@ernsmile579 It is a just one work, Vivaldi's "Winter." It has three movements. So in answer to your question, the "the 2nd part" is the second movement of Vivaldi's work "Winter" (from his "Four Seasons").

Respect! The resurrection of ginger Vivaldi, beautiful tones and phrasing.
I wish I could play like her when I was her age. Violin needs big passions and hard work. No short cuts. Maximum discipline . Finding her is rare. BRAVO...

Coming back again to marathon on Chloe Chua performances after seeing her on Twosets violins video. My favorite girl. Watching these made me so proud of her and admired her so much.

I couldnt even imagine the feeling of the concertmaster (first seat violinist [old dude]) Living long enough to hear the evolution of music AND getting to play with a child prodigy

Chloe was 12 on this occasion but you are right about her talent. E.g. she had been only 11 when she had given this off-the-scale incredible performance of Hubay's Carmen Fantasie kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bbJ_prJ-t7_PYXk.html and only 10 when she had given this delightful performance of Mozart's violin concerto #4 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rJtzd9GX2crdpnU.html

I’m in tears. I’ve skipped about listening to different Winters on KZfaq, and this is utterly utterly beautiful in so many ways at once. The human soul doesn’t have an age. If our life is a long struggle to connect our soul, then this is an ecstatic celebration by all the musicians playing and us listening, that that connection is possible, it’s real and it is now. Thankyou gang! 🙏❤️

Almost all of the performances Chloe has posted are miraculous and overwhelming. Among the most beautiful are Massenet's "Meditation," Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending" and Chausson's "Poeme," all on her channel and all an occasion for buckets of tears!

I understand why some may prefer a gentler rendition of this but I think this would suit something that requires energy. Like sprinting or a frantic cleaning of the house or something. I personally love this. It took my breath away. The softer parts actually do very well to build tension before it is released in one fell swoop.

you never underestimate the old when it comes to music. in the modern world, the youngest are considered prodigies, but everyone forgets the old and wizened we have left behind. the first violinist is a perfect example of how age does not restrict someone's music.

Chloe is developing incredibly fast. Just a year later, when 13 she gave one of the best ever performances of a Mozart concerto kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htd3hLeW387Qj3U.html and here she is now, just 14 and performing in recital as well as any violinist in the world. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fL2SmNpovtzKqYk.html
