One problem with this theory is that Sumire still has the Gozu Tenno implanted on her palm and thus is still a vessel for its power (which we've seen her use in the anime after her initial arc), so it seems like it wouldn't be possible to make her a viable vessel since she well already is a vessel for "Kaguya's Gozu Tennno' as Sasuke called it. A lot of people seem to think Amado wants to put his daughter’s Karma mark on Delta but that’s not true. Delta is an android. Amado wants to put the Karma mark on a flesh and blood clone. The first clone he made of Akebi was a flesh and blood clone. Delta has nothing to do with it. He probably just modified the Deltas to be stronger. Because I don’t think his daughter had rocket legs.

It's possible that the reason that Amado has kept Sumire around is specifically because he knows that she's spying on him. Like think about it, as you said, he knows that Konoha is always going to be suspicious of him and spy on him, so what would he actually gain by kicking her off his team? He's not really gaining any more privacy/secrecy if he's just going to be getting spied on anyways. In fact, it's probably easier for him to keep things secret when he knows whose eyes are going to be looking. Another factor could also be Sumire's motive for spying on him: she's spying on him for her own personal reasons rather than political ones. In a sense, this makes her more trustworthy than your typical spy because her motives are her own.

Personally Amado keeps sumi around for two reasons. 1. If she disappears he would too, Shikamaru wouldn’t allow it. 2. Makes manipulating the village a lot easier when you know who you can spread false information to.

The thing about Delta is that she is a perfect biological clone of Akebi, so she should 100% be able to take a Kama mark without issue. If you clone my body, a Kama mark of me should be easily implantable since it's just me, the body should be used to it. It's the same person, same DNA, a consciousness that the brain is already equipped to handle, chakra the body is already used to, etc. There is 0% chance that implanting Akebi's Kama onto Delta should fail.

My favorite thing about Kishimoto is how he writes his character themes, because they’re always right on the nose with puns, and then people are like “well surely he’s not that blunt” and then he is and everyone is blown away. Dude’s name is Naruto Uzumaki, when I saw Kiba doing his rotating fang in part one, I was like “oh yeah, Naruto is gonna do this one day, but on a much bigger scale, like the Flash”. I mean, I wasn’t correct on the execution, but I was right about the tornado/wind element.

Amado only tells us what he thinks is what we want to hear. I think he keeps the whole truth to himself. I'm sure he's more concerned with his own agenda than he does about Konoha and the whole shinobi world itself.

I have a fun theory that much like Boruto told Shikamaru that every time you learn of omnipotence, you forget about it, this is also happening to Amado, meaning every 3 months or so, Sumire has to listen as Amado logic out that his memories have been altered, only for him to forget a few days later.

I believe Amado is effectively Boruto's version of Black Zetsu but Kishimoto's attempt at doing the character right. We get to know their plot early on and Amado's desire to bring back his daughter will more than likely be the final obstacle in the entirety of Boruto. The Shinju and all that will play a part in Amado's ambitions but this will be an inverse of Naruto's story that rose to greater and greater heights and involved sacrificing men to bring back a god; we'll more than likely have gods sacrificed to bring back a broken man's daughter.

@NCHammer23 I don’t think that Amado is bringing back his daughter at all. He could’ve done that with the help of someone using edo tensei. I think he’s trying to bring back Shibai, which cant be resurrected by edo tensei, but can be resurrected through his karma. The cyborgs he creates are not suitable vessels for the Otsutsuki god, however it is stated that Kawaki is the “perfect” vessel for a Otsutsuki.
