She famously ended George Clooney's long run as one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors in 2014, when she tied the knot with him on the canals of Venice. And Amal Clooney, 40, moved her 57-year-old actor husband to tears on Thursday night, when she paid tribute to him as he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute at Hollywood's Dolby Theater. As the human rights lawyer took to the stage at the star-studded ceremony, she spoke publicly for the first time about the couple's one-year-old twins Ella and Alexander - and gushed about the 'joy' they give her.

If we go back a few generations, Alfred Hitchcock, the gold standard for Hollywood filmmaking in his time, treated Tippi Hedren appallingly - locked her in a 10 year contract without work just cos she wouldn’t sleep with him. He’s only been a film actor since the late 90s though. There’s people who have been working WAY longer and have made far more iconic films but he gets a tribute now? It’s too early. Like he didn’t deserve his Cecil B Mille award at the Golden Globes as early as 2015.

Not-even -German There are fewer and fewer rising stars (as you call it) because there are fewer crooked people willing to go along with their evil ways. My brother was an actor in Hollywood. You wouldn't believe me if I told you what they expected of him in order for him to pursue his craft. He left the industry. It was a very hard decision to make but he can sleep at night now knowing he's a good person and he didn't sell his soul.
