amanda referring to yael's character with they/them pronouns is so important!!! even though yael goes by they/them on the show the cast usually doesn't so thank you!!

Samantha Gomes The cast doesnt because yael is just a character on tv and in rl the actor identifies as a female so its easy to forget especiall if a cast member doesnt really interact with yael in the show.

okay, the actress seems very different from Lola. I know the hair and make-up helps, but also her demeanor is so different! I think that shows how great an actor she is.

idk they rushed the show imo the seasons on nick were super long. Maya's generation got cut down on a lot of episodes(opinion). Why couldn't they have 40 episode long seasons on Netflix?

Sirmel11 it definitely got cut down a whole lot but to be fair maya (& zig & tristan) have been on the show since like season 11 so i think it was time for them to graduate, it just sucks cause then theres people like miles and zoe who only joined the cast in season 13 :/

Sirmel11 exactly. tbh degrassi should've taken more time to get into depth with these characters so we can see more of their lives and either grow to like them or dislike them. especially the ones in Lola's grade. (miles, maya, and zig have had enough screen time)

Wait soooooo it just hit me. Degrassi is not dead. If it was they would not be updating this channel at all. They would let it die. My guess is they are rebooting again and I'm all for that. Hopefully it is more like DNG and does 15 ep seasons at least. I'm also guessing they are planning on freshman which I can see being Jack,Isabella and maybe the son of JT & Liberty assuming the adoptive parents stayed in the area. Also hope Lakehurst is rebuilt and we get a cival school rivalry. Maybe Jack falls for a Lakehurst girl. Also bring Marco back as a teacher. I want older people to return but only if it works for a plot. The returns in season 2 ep 5 were so meh. Peter and Craig actually worked since it fit into a plot.

PlusUltraNanami well bi and pan arent the same thing. she could be bi but she has real chemistry with yael, who is genderfluid. and lola was fine with yael kissing her before they transitioned and we all know she has been with a boy (miles, tiny, etc). lola also has said that she has "always been confused" about being pan, she said so in the prom episode. so that implies that she has heard about it and knows about it. why would she look it up? maybe because she was questioning her sexuality.
