You're right brotha. I was very guilty for saying my Brothas and sistas should leave the south due to how we're treated but I was reading something a brotha said about that. He said the south is our home too. Our ancestors fought and bled for our rights to live and prosper in the south and he's not going anywhere and he will continue to fight for it. Hush me the f up because I truly get it. This is our country too and I don't care if some don't want us here.

I am born and raised in ghetto Britain and didn’t realise how much of a slum the country is until I started travelling the world. As black people we need to have options . A passport gives us that just incase we need to move to a safer place.

Travel is not so much about finding another place, it’s about finding yourself. If you stay in the same context all the time, you won’t know what is you, and what is just the context. Put yourself in a different context and you find out who you really are.

I love that my kids, nieces & nephews travel & take vacations outside the U.S. 😊 but for me 👉🏾 the cons outweigh the pros... you basically need a vacation to rest up from your vacation 😅 I do love having a passport though, it's good for identification purposes. 🙂
