About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

What if Rebecca died in a replica in this meat store and her conscience went to Amanda. That's why Amanda is scared of the butcher shop while in the original game she isn't.

Most probably the meat shop 🥩 signifies the place were children are getting lured to or captured to including Rebecca/Amanda which is being used as the bait. Wooly as the handler or piper wins in that tape by suppressing Amanda's abilities and lures the player who's also a child to the meat shop becoming meat like the other children

I wanted to mention a little detail about this game worth noting. The company’s name, Hameln. With the shape of a mouse, and the logo “Follow us for fun.” This is likely a node to the story of the Pied Piper, or the original name of the fairy tale; “The Pied Piper of Hamelin.” For those who don’t know, the story of The Pied Piper is about a man with a magic pipe who was tasked by a town to get rid of the rats infesting their whole town. The Piper then plays a song that lures all the rats out of the town, and in older versions of the story, leads them to their death. The Piper then comes back to ask for his payment to which the governing body declines to pay him. So, as punishment, he plays a song that lures out all the children in the town and in older versions leads them into a trap. So, this is obviously a narrative sign that something is wrong with this company, and probably evidence that the company wants to lure children into the show.

The demon summoned is Bael. Can’t be paimon as Paimon screams when summoned, and the last one was interrupted. Also the reason Sam saw nothing in the room is because bael can turn invisible. Also one of bael’s abilities is being able to disguise themself as a cat.

Amazing deep dive into the secret tapes. I think the sound test Amanda was being made to do was actually a demon summoning ritual. Bye Yell, Pie Man and Baa Lamb are all phonetic pronunciations of demon names Baiel, Paemon, and Balam. Just like Bloody Mary beetle juice or candy man, saying the name 3x is bad news!!

My thoughts/theories: -Since Rebecca was the inspiration for Amanda, it makes sense for her to be a byproduct of Rebecca and for them to have some sort of paranormal connection, but I don't think Rebecca is dead w/ her soul literally inside Amanda. The final line in the True Ending, "I'm out there. Somewhere." feels to me like it's referring to Rebecca, and that Amanda is asking us to go look for her. -Amanda also has obvious connections to the monster in the first ending. This is either an alternative form she can take, as evidenced by the line "Sometimes I feel myself rotting," or it's a separate entity that she is also connected to and can sense the presence of, hence "but it seems far away." (even though we know it's not very far away at all) -Because of this line, I've taken to calling the monster "Rotting Amanda", and I believe them to either be created by or BE Hameln, because he clearly has some sort of corrupt vision of his own for Amanda the Adventurer

@@GorochuVA no, but it is strongly hinted in the game that there is a demon involved, as in a secret tap you hear Rebecca being tricked into summoning a demon, the developers want u to put together the pieces yourself basically, so they aren't gonna confirm anything... also the eyes in the show are actually other children's soul, Rebecca is not the only trapped child, as in another secret tape. Also, i know it's a theory, but its also strongly hinted in the game that Rebecca IS amanda, that's why amanda wants out and acts so alive, not to mention Rebecca completely stops IRL meetings and went missing and hameln covers it up. In other secret tape, an adult is complaining that Amanda is saying "Don't trust adults" she was referring to the producers tricking her to be trapped into the TV

Nah, I still think it hints way more at her being dead. "Somewhere out there" as in her body hasn't been found, it's rotting somewhere far away. If that wasn't referencing her dead body, but was just some dumb metaphor, the rotting Episode wouldn't have shown so many actually dead things. It's not that deep, it doesn't take brain gymnastics that hard.

Essentially this game has a really sad dark lore to it where Sam Colton is the little girl's (Rebecca) father who adopted her and was inspired by her to create the show which was for the community until the company hameln wanted to make it into a cartoon. Apparently later on throughout the other secret tapes, Sam goes missing and ends up leaving Rebecca behind and in the company hameln hands where they can use her for anything. I believe they use her by getting her to say demonic names ( bye yell, pie man, etc.) to summon a demon and use her body as the sacrifice (her rotting out there somewhere). Another thing to take note of is that Sam and Kate both knew each other and both went missing (something happens to Kate but we don't know what) because of the company hameln when they tried to investigate and stop having Rebecca from recording episodes. There's also something about why everything has eyes. It could be because the children that ended up disappearing could've been sucked in and turned into those things (trees, bushes, stores, etc)

Why would she not like that? She hurts Wooly herself. Kills Wooly herself. Fantasizes about him being turned into a pie. Calls him an animal who shouldn’t talk. Amanda HATES Wooly so it would not make sense that she wouldn’t want to go there because they might hurt Wooly. It would make some sense if the butchering and meat tied into her disappearance and it triggers her

1.) A letter that Kate revealed from a friend mentioned that a boy named Jordan disappeared while watching “Amanda the Adventure”. Perhaps, he entered the tapes as Wooly. 2.) there is a newspaper clipping that has some interesting info. On one side, it talks about an interview with Sam. On the other side, it features a headline about a Celtic relic being stolen. In the gameplays that I’ve seen so far, the article itself is difficult to read. Still, it seems to indicate some supernatural activity involved in the lore of the game. You can probably imagine how Hameln and the “man in the headphones” play into this.

I honestly think Wooly was put in the vhs tapes to keep Amanda from figuring out who she actually is or where she is or what’s happened. Every time he’s around and she starts to question the world around her Wooly keeps mentioning she’s confused and during the second round of in your neighborhood Amanda seems to be remembering until Wooly convinced her it’s his birthday. In the last tape where Wooly isn’t there, she seems completely aware. I think he was placed in there by Hamlen, and is possibly an employee at Hamlen to keep her from figuring it out. So I don’t really trust him

YES! Supernatural activities are sure involved in this game, since i once saw a comment say that the things that the director was making Rebecca were names of demons, bye yell bieng baiyel something, and pie man bieng paimon(not genshin impact), baa lamb bieng something similar idk i forgot, and i think they used the demons to trap Rebeccas soul in the show and just dumped her body somewhere and is "rotting", or one of the demons used her body as a vessel and is that demon amanda, i do think your theory number 1 is good and maybe true but we do not know alot about wooly, he could be someone bad bu we do not know so this is a very good and scary game, I LOVE IT!

Regarding Aunt Kate, if you read two of the papers that was stuck on the board at the start of the game, it shows that someone reached out to Kate to investigate the paranormal activities with the tapes after a kid named Jordan went missing after watching the tapes. This person also knew that Kate wasn't just a librarian and knew her "second job" of contacting spirits. My theory is that the person who wrote that letter is the investigator that we see in the hidden tapes ending.

my theory on the random man ending is that you found out the secret. quite literally. she is indeed out there rotting away. once you found that out, you get taken out. i also believe this correlates to aunt kate’s death. she too found out the secret and was taken out, resorting to you getting the house and discovering the tapes.

At 10:43 has anyone noticed how the barn looks at you after typing Sam’s name? I wonder if Sam somehow got sucked into the game also because on the day he went missing that’s the same day Hamlin took over. And then around 10:58 the barn looks at you. The barn is…eerie in a way. I say this because before typing Sam’s name it wasn’t breathing or anything just staring with it blood shot eyes. Next after type Sam’s name it starts breathing heavily, like it’s scared about something, maybe it’s nervous about Amanda. Or worried about the viewer watching the tapes as if to say, “ Quit messing around.” And after that the barn goes back to normal in the background at 11:00, no red eyes just normal. Just wondering because in another video I didn’t notice until someone else pointed it out.

Good point, I figured maybe it was her dad. He's breathing hard and irractic, like a scared, worried or concerned parent that aware of what's going on. Maybe that's why he looks when he hears or sees the name, because it's him. All the other stores in such never break character like that barn house did.

I read a theory that Aunt Kate was the person who watched the tapes in the first version of the game and she knew watching the tapes might kill her and basically wants Riley to finish what she started

My Theory on this: Amanda the Adventurer's humble beginnings as a small live action show starring Rebecca Colton did unexpectedly well. When her father, Sam, heard that Hameln Entertainment wanted to help him turn it into an animated version that would be bigger and better, he was excited. Little did he know that things were not as they seemed. First, there is an article about a Celtic relic being stolen. Whoever took it was probably working for Hameln. Their logo is a mouse and their slogan is "Follow us to fun!", An allusion to the pied piper. In the purple tape, Rebecca is heard saying "Bye yell, bye yell, bye yell, Pie man, pie man, pie man, baa lamb, baa lamb, baa lamb" before being interrupted by Sam. His suspicions are valid because after doing some research, Bye yell is Bael, Pie man is Paimon, and Baa lam is Baalam, which are demons. The celtic relic was probably used to summon these demons and one or all of them are possessing the show and Amanda, which explains the red glitches and the red glitch in the true ending. Hameln probably killed off Sam as he was trying to thwart their plan and in the turquoise tape, we see Rebecca signing a contract. This was probably an agreement to be locked away and experimented on to literally turn her into the Amanda we see on the tapes. Aunt Kate knew something was wrong and tried to figure it out, but the entity killed her. Amanda says she's out there somewhere in the last tape. It's probably Rebecca who is saying that, referencing her body. But hey, that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY! as MatPat would say.

I kinda wonder if Wooly is actually tied to Amanda and Rebecca as well. Maybe Wooly is the timid and shy version of Rebecca that everyone knows and loves, and Amanda is her trauma rearing its head and showing how messed up she truly became from the whole experience. This could also tie into why Wooly disappears by the end of the game; and if he IS what is in Amanda's lunch box, that could be more symbolism of Rebecca being chopped up and rotting somewhere. This would also explain why he can interact with the player like Amanda can, but he always gets cut off. And, it would make sense why Amanda is always bullying him and making him feel lesser. They might have felt trapped in their last environment and like they couldn't even speak. So Wooly, when put back in said environment, reverts to the version they had to be to survive those horrid circumstances. This could also tie into why Amanda gets so unhinged during the kitten segment. She saw a piece of her, Wooly, go back to an abusive environment. Now she is looking for help, pleading, and she is being abandoned. Idk, it's ofc just a theory. But as a trauma survivor myself it seems like a gut wrenching and realistic take on some of the ways trauma can mess with you.

7:08 if you dont know, in the earlier tapes of the earlier versions of the game, there was a tape wherein Amanda and Wooly buy meat for their vegetarian grandma, yeaa A VEGETERIAN GRANDMA. As ythey enter and you type meat... Amanda will look at Wooly and Wooly gets scared and Amanda i think attacks him off-screen. Try clicking Wooly dutong the meat shop scene wherein Amanda is very sad and down, he will feel uncomfortable and say that it is just a joke

A theory that I have is about the ending of the final tape: I don’t think Amanda is inside the TAPES, I think she’s inside the TV. I had the same theory about what happened to Amanda and I have this weird feeling that the reason why she don’t like the butcher shop is because something deep in her fragmented memories something happened to her before she died The butcher shop could be a reference to what the scientist in the laboratory did to her after the experiments Or whatever demonic spirit or entity they summoned with that artifact Must’ve consumed her literally but I feel like it has something to do more so what the scientist did with the experiments, right after she gave away her right and walked in that room And ESPECIALLY THIS THEORY ALL THOSE CLIPS even the DEMOS what she did to wooly is what she could be indirectly telling us what they did to her Performing surgery, drugging her Lying to her about this is all pretend Exactly what she did to wooly happened to her I’m my theory 😂sorry I get hype over psychological horror games and films especially if it’s a good plot 😅

I haven’t noticed, and not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but on the tape where you are at the candy shop there’s some static at some point, and if you pause at the right moment, there’s a tiny frame were Amanda and Wooly are at the butcher’s, and Amanda looks like she’s gonna puke while Wooly is only standing there, smiling. I’m so curious about that~

my theory is that it ties into her death. i believe the butcher in general insinuates that rebecca was chopped up and is rotting somewhere. i believe wooly is smiling because he is in tune with the game, which we know has something demonic about it.

In one of the secret video tapes, some guy was spying on them, I remember there was Sam, Rebecca and maybe the man in charge of hamley production. I think they were trying to do something bad to Rebecca and Sam know it. Maybe the company want only to use Rebecca's voice to creat a unique AI with the same mind as Rebecca have with his dad and the show. Maybe that's one of the reasons why Sam disappear , he knew something was wrong when he make that deal with hamley productions. In the end, Rebecca was all alone, the company maintain her as their main prisoner in other words. I have a clue that what Rebecca sign with the hamley productions( the company), was like an agreement to donate something to the company. Because in the end we all know that Rebecca is dead and her body is somewhere around a forest( unknown location). So my answer will be that hamley production somehow Manage to maintain Rebecca's consciousness with all her acting, attitude, and her voice. In other words, when the program went live the first time everything was good and Sam and his daughter saw nothing wrong. After sams death and after her daughters misterious death( probably killed by the company and they only take her consciousness for future episodes) the show start to change because what hamley productions didn't know is that Rebecca's soul was inside the show. After a while of being on the air, Rebecca didn't remember a thing but she probably realized that her life was taken away by the same people his father trust. ( hamley productions) Even if we said Sams name in a few steps of the episodes, she is totally mad that someone saids her fathers name because that reminds her of everything she suffer during her fathers death and her own death. Thats why she start to change all the new episodes: 1. To make contact with someone in the other end of the screen of the Tv and maybe try to add some clues to the kids so they avoid being on the same situation. 2. Even if she try so hard to make kids understand her situation some how, she was mad because some of the kids maybe they answer something wrong to her that make her mad and turn into a monster to disappear each children that didn't understand her( in other words too much hate, anger, and revenge inside her soul make Rebecca the perfect monster) 3. Last but not least Rebecca's anger is so big that make every kid in América and probably around the World. Being control by her, and demonstrate to the rest of the parents of each innocent children what she suffer. ( thats why they where reports that some kids disappear without a trace, because thats how Rebecca disappear and her body still somewhere, waiting to be found) In other words, Rebecca and her dad where victims of a big horrific deal between hamley productions. In real life they are cases that some actors ( big and small) are all being harassed by the same film and television companies just for money, and today they are many cases that havent been resolved.

Here's my theory about Wooly: Hameln added Wooly into the show to redirect Amanda's attention. I say that because Wooly always tries to stop Amanda from discussing specific topics. That's why Wooly got mad after Amanda said she feels herself rotting sometimes. Here's another theory about Sam: After Hameln purchased rights to Amanda the Adventurer and turned it into a cartoon, Sam started to see Hameln's true intentions. Especially in the purple tape when they had Rebecca say weird stuff (little did he know they were having her summon demons and were probably making how they capture kids). They saw that Sam was catching on to them, and if Sam digs further, he will probably close the deal and take Rebecca out. So they decided to kidnap and probably kill him too. And now they are trying to make it seem to people and Rebecca that Sam just left and abandoned their show and Rebecca. So they tricked Rebecca into signing something (Sam was missing up to that point, that's why he wasn't there for parental consent), then they went to operate on her. This game's lore is amazing. They got real-life actors to act and created a good storyline. Hopefully, they release an update or a sequel to the game.

Fun fact: We already solved the game's lore almost fully. A person named "OmniPie" uploaded a video about it. In other words (⚠️ SPOILER WARNING ⚠️), Amanda is innocent and Wooly is the evil one. Matpat was too slow this time, haha! But i'm sure he'll somehow still figure out the rest.

It seems like MatPat was the only one who caught this, but Hamelin was the name of the town in the Pied Piper and their logo is a mouse. A little more on the nose about the child kidnapping when you know that. Also, the random words they have her saying are demon names. Bye Yell is Bael, Pie Man is Paimon, and Baa Lamb is Balam

Apparently, during the purple tape where Rebecca is saying those weird letters/names, it's actually her saying demon names just in a different way- its as if the director is trying to get her to summon demons herself without her or sam knowing. I think the reason Amanda didn't want to go to the butcher shop is because in the ATA demo, the second tape involved Amanda going to the butcher shop to get meat for Grandma. In the demo, she killed Wooly and he became the meat, so in the finished product Amanda doesn't want to do that to Wooly again.

Hamelin is the name of the town in the story the pied Piper the story about the piper was hired by the people to get rid of there rat problem so he used his magic pipe. After the job was done the people refuse to pay for his service so he use his magic pipe to lure the children that also why the company logo is a rat and when children watch the show they being lure away from there parents.

The news tape could possibly be hinting at Amanda being able to have some kind of influence on children, and when she loses that influence, she manifests into the real world, and supposedly takes out that person’s parents. Wooly could potentially be a symbol of the player’s awareness that something is terribly wrong, as he tries to help the player. Amanda isn’t a bad person at all, rather the entity is putting up a facade to make the player, and riley think that she is. I think that in the meat shop route of in your neighborhood, that could be the entity losing it’s grip on the show, hence the corruption of the show, in the zoo tape, the entity completely takes over, supposedly killing wooly, riley, and supposedly amanda. Mabye in future updates someone might unconver a lore-filled newspaper clipping, cleverly hidden somewhere out there.

Jlyk, there is an ending where you get turned into a piece of meat by Amanda, Wich basically means, yes, she can bring people into the show. Adding on to that, that might be why she doesn't like the meat shop. All of her victims are there. Ps: there are "body Marks" on the ground on sidewalks (irl) that tell you "this is the byciclist side, and this is the walking side" so it doesn't necessarily mean that the ones in the game are dead bodies.

So the reason he's its because he wants help on finding Rebecca and wants answers on how the player found or got these tapes

I don’t know if you see this but when Rebecca was saying those “words” in the room. Those words made me realize it was the names of demons, pie man=Paimon baa lamb= balam I can’t decipher what the first one was, according from what I searched, it’s possibly bye yell= belial. Those names are one of the seventy-two demons from the lesser key of solomon. I’m thinking that the man who made her say those words are associated with something demonic and probably making her summon something, similar to what you said. That’s just my thought

The reason why Amanda or Rebecca didn’t want to go inside the butcher’s shop is because she is fighting the demon that’s trying to control her. She’s fighting because she doesn’t want to get Wooly killed by the Butcher.

I think the fox is a representation of Amanda getting caught and killed in a trap set by Hamlin. Perhaps it was a trap meant for Sam since it’s a bear trap but it caught the fox.

It's because, back in the demo, the tapes were completly different and one of them was where Amanda and Wooly went to buy meat for her grandma. And then she killed Wooly. My theory is that Hameln was trying to summon demons for whatever reason and make them lure kids into Amandas world and when they had Rebecca sign that they went underground to do the ritual and her body was used as a vessel for the body, so whenever the monster comes its rebecca transformed into the demon. I also think that the lonely kitten represents Rebecca, the fox is Kate, and the barn is Sam, wooly being the one to try and keep Rebecca/Amanda from knowing the truth. Edit: I think that Amanda in the VHS tapes is one of the demons and rebecca, and when Amanda tries to send a package to Kate, the demon makes her forget it and Amanda/Rebecca was trying to send a distress call to Kate.

THIS IS WORTH READING!! My theory is: a girl name Rebecca/Amanda had a father, who made a show about her, and another company turned into a cartoon, but then the father mysteriously disappeared so the company took custody of Rebecca/Amanda and tricked her into signing a paper. Then they killed her and put her soul in the show and whenever we could see white static, Rebecca is trying to take over. But the demon (the black thing we see during the show.) won’t let her because the directors of the cartoon found a way to put a demon into the show if that makes any sense, and woolly is trying to protect Amanda and the person behind the screen. without making it too obvious. But if that didn’t work the kids would be taken by the demon. So technically when we see the eyeballs around the screen and the kids went missing, that’s just some more souls of the kids. That got taken. So the demon is trying to make sure that Amanda/Rebecca doesn’t figure out what her past is. but she is and Woolley is trying to make it not too obvious for the demon so he is an anti-villain. And in the first tape we saw in the woods is where her bodies buried and maybe even the bodies of the other children so Amanda is trying to break free and woolly is trying to help but Amanda doesn’t think that. But the reason she tried to kill him was so the demon couldn’t get any more information about Amanda so she could tell us what’s going on without the DEAMON catching on, but while he was not gonna tell the demon so when she said “ I’m out there somewhere” she was saying how they tricked her and killed her and her soul is trapped in the show, but her body is still partially alive so if us/Riley finds a way to save Rebecca/Amanda without the demon finding out boom we win and Rebecca/Amanda is free! But it probably won’t be that simple… but that’s my theory. Enjoy.

You know I’m not seeing anybody thinking that wooly is Sam. Like he could be more frantic to escape his hell and stay away from Amanda. Instead wooly is caring and always close to her. If we reference the r.l episode with the Lauren scene, wooly is seen super far away from Amanda the whole episode.

I see Wooly as Hameln, making Wooly in all evil. Amanda the whole time seems distraught with herself but Wooly is always the one trying to bring her back to the show like the producers at Hameln forcing Rebecca to do their bidding. To support this claim I want to go to the video where Amanda wants to get a birthday gift and Wooly secretly says its his birthday, "In your Neighborhood." I think that was a lie trying to stop Amanda/Rebecca from getting out of line. During one of the secret clips where Sam and the coffee TV girl talk Sam says, he really loved her homemade cookies. And during the birthday VHS Amanda says she wants to get her "friend" cookies, but Wooly convinces her its for him and ultimately the show does not let her get cookies. So the whole time I believe the Amanda's friend during the VHS was her dad, but she could not remember him. So in all, I do not think Wooly is as good as he seems and he represents Hameln's control of Amanda/Rebecca always reminding Amanda that she needs to stay on track. EDIT: I got the videos a little mixed, but I still believe that Sam is the "friend" Amanda is talking about, thus being his birthday. But she still does mention cookies in the video "Special Treat" for her friend so I think they both still connect. Another little thing is the fox. When Amanda points out that the fox is hurt from the bear trap I think the fox represents her dad, Sam, as how Hameln silenced him by killing him off.

Amanda’s “friend” is Aunt Kate, they say it in the original unedited 2nd tape. It wasn’t anyone’s birthday, when you pick the birthday card after Wooly says it’s his birthday, Amanda is unsure that it’s the right card.

Im pretty sure wooly is actually sam, just like how amanda is rebecca. Hes the one placed there to try and keep amanda calm so that the demon doesn't get loose into the real world and is instead kept trapped in the tapes, luring in children which somehow helps Hamelin in whatever they are doing. Maybe the more kids that get trapped and lured into the universe in the tape, the more power Hamelin gets. Thats why wooly acts the way he does, he knows everything, but he's trapped himself. He tries to alert the viewers as best he can without setting amanda off but hes stuck trying to keep her calm so the demon doesn't get unleashed on the real world. If he tries to alert the viewers, he may be killed by amanda (which happens in the pilot of the game, as well as when he's murdered by her on the operating table,) but if he dies there's nothing there to stop amanda from going insane, morphing into the demon and coming to the real world. Wooly is whats left of sam, but amanda can't remember this because it seems like shes lost most of her memory of being a real person, she just knows she was at some point

In the first version of the game, amanda kills the physical body of the player and THEN puts you into the tv. This is built on by the borders around the camrea when they kill you, along with the secret tape in 1.2, potentially where amanda’s body is.

The people who wanted to animate the show wanted to use her voice for subliminal brain washing. They needed to brainwash her first, though. That’s why they had a guy tell her words to chant in her headphones for her voice recording so nobody would hear him. After she and Sam protested they got rid of Sam and basically got Rebecca to sign her life away to them so they could do what they want. They removed Rebecca’s soul and got rid of the body. That’s why she could feel herself rotting somewhere far away. Wooly is not her friend, she hates him, he’s a plant to keep her on course so she won’t freak out during the show. Notice her cadence when she offers him that drink. “It’s all pretend, right Wally? “ That’s probably what he keeps telling her.

Sam saying after all that’s amanda has been through is probably just what happened to her actually parents because she is an orphan

If you wondering what Pie man, Bye yell or Baa lamb is, It's actually the name of 3 demons or probably 3 dukes of hell. Pie man is Paimon, Bye yell is Bael and Baa lamb is Balam. Basically, Hameln is making her summon demons. Balam and Paimon are not summoned so it's probably Bael because he is summoned quietly and can turn invisible that's why Sam is confused and he also is the one who turmed Amanda into Monster Amanda, that is why in the demo at the ending before the credits, you can see Monster Amanda which is possibly created by Bael. Also in the episode What's a family, we can see that she keeps saying "Won't you help the lonely kitten?" Because Bael can also transform into a cat.

I have a mix of my own theories, and what I've seen other people theorize. I believe Rebecca was used as a vessel to summon a demon, and her psyche was trapped within the show by Hameln. Amanda is some kind of power struggle between Rebecca's mind, the Amanda persona, and the demonic possession. I personally believe that her violent and cruel actions towards Wooly are her lashing out against Hameln as the psyche of Rebecca tries to escape. Wooly is just there to try and reign her in and make sure the show goes on smoothly. He's very persistent in avoiding anything that reminds Amanda of her life as Rebecca. This includes things like Wooly trying to stop her from mailing something to Kate, stopping Amanda from trying to celebrate someone's birthday to have Wooly say it's his own birthday, his worried reaction when you mention Sam at the farm and his persistence to stop you from engaging in Rebecca's conversation about death and rotting. I have a couple of other theories in regards to the game as well, as well as fun little things. - In the first tape for baking, when asked what type of pie you like, saying things like "Wooly", "Mutton", "Lamb", "Human", or "Organs", this will cause Wooly to have a shocked/concerned reaction while Amanda says it sounds delicious in a pretty sinister tone. This will also happen if you say "Kate ", or the first victim, "Lauren". - In another instance, during the "Oh No, Accidents!" tape, when Amanda asks you who can help Wooly, Instead of "Doctor" or "Nobody", you can also answer once again with "Kate ". She and Wooly will stare into the camera for a few seconds before Amanda lashes out at you. - The dead fox in the show might be a representation of Sam, getting trapped by Hameln and getting killed similarly to the fox getting killed by a beartrap hidden in a bush. - As Amanda gets more and more upset throughout the tapes, there seem to be more references to gore. In the "Oh No, Accidents!" tape, the medical equipment will turn into organs as you select the incorrect ones. There are also of course references to organs in the butcher shop in the altered "In Your Neighborhood" tape. If you select the butcher knife, it will disappear and the scene will continue with a reply from Amanda. However, selecting either of the meats will immediately make her lash out and cut to them being outside . In the "Everything Rots!" tape, the picnic items will also turn into human organs if wrong items are selected repeatedly. - In the "Everything Rots!" tape, she'll specifically say "I feel myself rotting, but it's so far away". If you refuse to answer Amanda directly when she asks if everything rots, she will eventually remove Wooly from the scene. She'll ask one last time about rotting, and if you respond with "Yes", she'll say "I think it might be too late". I think this confirms that Rebecca's physical body is dead, and that all that's left is her psyche trapped in the show. - In the "What's A Family?" tape, the barn in the pen with the chickens has bloodshot red eyes. As you progress further in this scene, the building starts to expand and contract, almost as if personality of the barn is becoming either angry, or exhausted.

i actually agree with all of this. the dead fox being sam seems actually really smart. what would that mean if amandas the one drawing that? and also, what does the bunch of body parts symbolize? is it that sam and kate are maybe decapitated? and rebecca's rotting body has me confused because how does the monster of rebecca take form? is it a completely different way of the monster to form or is it still the same rotten body.. i honestly have no idea how bael's possession works here lol

It was never anyone’s birthday, when you pick the birthday card after Wooly says it’s his birthday, Amanda is unsure at first if it’s the right card. I think that the “I think it might be too late” is referring to how the demon is now able to manifest.
