this week has been such an amazing week! from investing in a pilates studio membership, having some girl time and finally shopping for new clothes and shoes?! i deserve. i honestly work way too hard to not enjoy the fruits of my labor.
linking most of my shopping finds below for you! anyways, i'm really excited for the fall season here in Atlanta and using this season as a time for me to reset and find my footing again. i've been really self-conscious about my weight gain and i'm trying to be more gentle with myself and simply make the time for moving my body once every day.

Hey girl!!! Yes they preppy look fits you so well!! Definitely going to try Sweetgreens my next time in Atlanta. I did Pilates once…I liked it. Love the cream look! I saw the cutest ribbed set in Marshall’s today,similar to the one you tried on…I was like, this is the perfect airport outfit!!! It came in a hot pink and heather grey for $29. Hey Amani, I feel you on the difference in the weather here in Atlanta. I moved here from L.A. too about a year ago and this humidity is stifling. I was in the Antelope Valley (Palmdale/Lancaster) which is the desert and it wasn't as hot as it is here. Guess we have to get used to it, I lived in Chicago during my grade school years and it was very hot and humid there. But as a kid I never noticed it. Loved the Vlog, keep up the good work.

Laser is far less painful than waxing. I've been getting laser done for years in my entire body and it's nowhere near as painful as waxing. 😅

Girrrrl I went and got my wax on this past Monday and it hurt so badly! I’ve been getting waxes for 6 years and it still hurts every time. Plus the lady was going so freaking fast. I can appreciate the timeliness, BUT please don’t hurt my kitty like geesh! I dread getting waxed every time. My coworker told me to try drinking a coke and taking an aspirin right before. I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe I will.

Laser is not excruciating, but be prepared for some stinging pain, because you're burning hair follicles. it hurts more if you have big concentration of hair follicles in particular spots.

Laser hair removal is painful but it's doable with numbing gel! My esthetician put it's on about 30 minutes before the actual treatment on my bikini and it works wonders.
