AMARU Bioparque and Zoo in Cuenca Ecuador

My husband and I decided to do something different and after 30 years or marriage we decided to move to Cuenca, Ecuador to live here part of the year. In this video we visit the Bioparque AMARU and it was an amazing, sunny day that made for a perfect hike as we went through the park. I recommend 4 hours in the park (their website says at least 2). Wear comfortable shoes and clothes and be ready to walk and enjoy! Come and explore the park with us!

This was the best zoo I have ever been to. Very hard to walk but the lions at feeding time were so amazing! Thank you for sharing!

Sorry for the late reply... Yes, I agree with you! It's amazing! I'll have to go when they feed the lions. Do you know what time they do that?

Yes it is! It was more beautiful than we imagined. So even if there were some animals we could not see due to the large space they have (some of them we saw far off, but it was difficult to get a good picture of them) the hike and view made up for it.
