In this episode we are onboard the AmaWaterways AmaCello for our river cruise through Burgundy and Provence in Lyon, France.
For our morning excursion we did a culinary walking tour of Lyon.
I really enjoyed our visit to Lyon. There is so much history and great food here.
Before lunch we boarded the AmaCello bound for Vienne, France. Leaving Lyon, we came to the confluence or joining of the Saone and Rhone Rivers. We would now be sailing on the Rhone River for the remainder of our river cruise.
We also passed through a couple locks on the Rhone River, just outside of Lyon.
This cruise was filmed on October 6th to 13th, 2022 on the AmaWaterways "Essence of Burgundy and Provence" River Cruise itinerary.
