Can you please repeat the Amazfit GTR 2 heart rate test with the stress monitoring turned off? Many say that will make it accurate.

Don't know if you have already done but would be nice a table like in Google spreadsheet, updated after each test, with devices names and score for each sensor in the columns (heart, SPO2, ECG, Blood Pressure, exc..)

I bought this fitness tracker mostly because it had the best looks. Not the best HR tracking, but I'm hopeful it gets better with firmware updates.

Hi Thanks for the great review. I have the GTR2e and GTS2e and I agree with your review. Yesterday however they released 1.3.18.02 and the heartrate detection seems a lot better(the changelog also states this fact). Would you mind testing the 2e with this firmware update? Thanks!

Hello, I sincerely loved the video, it takes a lot of effort and dedication, you have earned my subscription. I have the GTR2 and I was able to compare it to a medical grade EKG, and the measurement was very good in anaerobic ranges, but at VO2 max the measurement is about 6BPM below the real one. I assume it is a software problem that has already been fixed. Greetings from Argentina

I'm looking forward to your analysis of the Amazfit Neo. The GTR 2 uses a Huami-made sensor, but the Neo uses an older sensor (which does not include SP02, VO2max or HRV). I wonder whether the inaccuracies are caused by the new sensor in the GTR 2 or whether inaccuracies are also present in the Neo. If problems in one and not the other, then probably a sensor issue, but if problems in both then it could be either the sensor or the software causing problems.

Hey I really loved the way you reviewed. Yes GTR2 HR sensor was really bad.. specially during workout when you start sweating.. But device received couple of firmware updates. I request you if you can again check Amazfit GTR2/GTS2. Both have same hardware.

Or in other words, how much could Amazfit or Zepp get out of the BioTracker 2 given time and data? I wish this video was posted before I bought one (GTS 2 mini /mid Feb). The HR tracking is really bad, especially for activities with a lot movement of the arms, i tried a lot of combinations, sometimes work fine, but in many opportunities did not. Usually loses HR tracking, from 140-150 fall to 70-80. Sometimes never go over 80-90. And today the screen is dead, so no refund for me. Excellent reviews and videos.

You ordered a great set of devices! Looking to the videos. I'm rather happy with my HB6's sleep tracking but have no idea if the stages are close to accurate 😂 Sleep score usually reflects well though.

Hi! Would really really appreciate it if you could also do the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini. Ive researched about it for 2 months and decided to buy it, it's currently on iys way now. Other resources I've seen have said it was pretty good. However this GTR 2 review is making me think twice. And I'm mainly going to use it for sleep tracking since my work is during the graveyard shift

I just have to thank you for creating that channel and that content. I do admit, at first I was kind of mad at you, since I really wanted to like this watch too and you ruined it for me! I wanted to buy OnePlus Watch but the reviews started rolling in about how inaccurate it was that I got interested at how accurate other smartwatches are and there is no other channel that really measures it. All the OnePlus reviews said to "Just get Amazfit GTR 2 instead" and your review made me realise it might be as bad or worse. But thank you for adding your own comparisons and suggestions in, will buy Huawei GT2Pro now!

Under ZEPP > Profile > GTR 2e > Health Monitoring > Activity detection (When watch detects that you are doing exercises, it will automatically increase the detection frequency to guarantee the accuracy of heart rate data during workouts". I wonder if this is turned on when reviewing the watch?

Please do the Amazfit Band 5! And also test sleep tracking with each available application, Zepp (official), Notify for Amazfit and Sleep as Android. The last two seem much more accurate!

I can confirm. I have a gtr 2 unit and the heart accuracy is really shameful. Regarding sleep tracking I couldn't make any comparison because I don't have any other unit to compare with but I already had a hard suspicion about how bad it performs.

Thanks a lot for this much awaited review, too bad the watch was such a disappointment. I guess when you saw the sleep and heart rate results you decided that there was no point in testing the step counting :) I really liked this watch or the GTS2 but considered these results and what other users reported about the GPS and steps counting accuracy it seems there is absolutely no point. I bought this watch as a present for myself at Christmas since the cheap amazfit BIP S did quite well. I couldn't believe that it didn't work for me at all. I thought I must have a faulty unit since why should the more expensive gtr2 be a lot worse than the 60 Euro BIP S? Well I returned it and seeing this video it seems like it's just garbage. Such a shame, could have been a nice watch. The watch that I'm most interested now is the oneplus watch. I'm using the garmin vivomove luxe at the moment and it's 'ok', but something with more than 3 days Battery life that looks good and works well enough would be a reason to switch. Since amazfit is out of the game, apple and samsung don't even get 3 days - the oneplus watch could be the one.

When HR trackers are this adamantly stuck at heart rates in the 75-100 BPM region while cycling I always suspect that they pick up your pedalling cadence over the heart rate. As in, pedalling causes your whole body to wobble slightly, up into the wrists, where the optical HR sensor picks up sine-like changes in brightness from periodical flexion to support your wobbling upper body... Or maybe I'm reading too much into it and it's just really bad & mostly guessing :)

I am confused with two watches you reviewed in your videos. The Mi Band 5 and the Amazfit GTR 2 they are both made from the same company. You said the Mi band 5 is very accurate, but the Amazfit GTR 2 is not accurate. You also added it was the worst watch you have tested. I can't understand how both from the same company are so different from each other. They have the same sensors.

Same experience here.. I bought it for 7k not at all worth. No calendar, calculator even quick reply. There is only incoming...no outgoing. Frankly speaking these are some of the basic features which a smart watch must have otherwise it would be called as dump watch. I'm regretting my purchase. 😒
