First of all the title of the video is misleading. This is not a five-months later review. I have been using an Amazfit GTR watch in the past four months and I regret that I didn't do a better research about it before making the decision to purchase it! This is the issue I have with the watch and your review. Why are you NOT honest and say the full truth about this watch? Its GPS tracking is terrible: from time to first fix, to failing to lock on to a GPS signal, constantly loosing the GPS signal and finally inaccurate GPS tracking -- it shows me walking through walls or walking on water in the middle of a river bed! Do not buy this watch. The GPS problem is due to the hardware and the manufacturer does not respond to customer complaints.

You forgot to mention that the air pressure sensor is... not working. At least on my watch always shows 989hpa.

@Simply Unbox It How many additional watchfaces (custom or not) can fit into the watch memory? I mean, does it fit only 1 additional watchface and when you want to change it you have to use the app or can you just upload (for example) 15 watchfaces to the watch at once and use the watch to switch watchfaces?

It can fit a total of 3 warchfaces. 2 of them are stock/fixed, and 1 is custom.

You can select and start activities on the watch, so don't need to bring the phone. The next time you connect, it will sync with the app.

The watch face that is always on, could I choose a different watch face? I like it less crowded like when the screen is darker, when it lit up, it is too crowded..

There are two watchfaces for the always on display. One analog and one digital. When the screen is lit up, it uses a different watchface, and there are many to choose from (not always on). I showed it all in the video.

The GPS can be s bit slow to get a signal, but it alwas gets it. If I go through a underpass it can lose the signal, and it takes a bit time to get it back...

From researching this on bestbuy I will say that this watch is much better then most watches out. I think that the 2 biggest features is the long battery life & the screen resolution on this. However I don't think that It measures up to the Amazfit GTS in terms of fitness If that's what you are looking for In terms of fitness with this watch. If you just want a simple watch then this is probably for this But If your looking for a fitness watch I would take a good hard look at the Garmin but stay clear of those Fitbit watches now that Google owns the brand.

The watch only works as a remote. Calls and music come from the phone.

I think it uses both. Here's from Amazfits webiste - "The altitude requires double calibration of the watch barometer and GPS. If you want more accurate altitude data, get the satellite positioning in an open area as soon as possible.".

What is PAI? PAI stands for Personal Activity Intelligence. It’s a scientifically-backed metric that turns heart rate data into a single, personal score, showing users how much activity they need to stay healthy. PAI metric can be used in heart rate devices for people to monitor their exercise levels more intuitively at a glance. How is works? The metric takes your heart rate during all activity (even activities that don't involve steps) to generate PAI score. The objective is to maintain a score of 100 PAI throughout a rolling 7 days. The score is based on each person’s physical data (age, gender, maximum heart rate, resting heart rate, and the body’s response to exercise.). So the activity everyone need to achieve their goal of 100 is unique to them.

Recently I was able to compair the GTR and the MI Watch Color. Since I do some running, 40 k on a weekly basis, I was especially interested in the use as a activity tracker when running. And there I noticed something that I did not like, on both of them: the speed indication is very unstable. When running at a steady pace, the speed or pace indication is fluctuating within a 30% range every few seconds, making it impossible to get a reliable indication of your actual speed. Which is quite important when you take your training serious. I had a Bip before, which had a bit of the same issue. But not as bad as these newer watches. It looks like only one GPS reading is used to calculate actual speed. But at lower speeds, like when running or walking, this will cause these fluctuations. This could by compensated by using a running average, combining the average of a number of GPS readings. Why not add a setting in which you can choose how many GPS readings to use to estimate current speed?
