@@DLLMCACTUS Apparently we are both lucky lol Last year I purged over 300 plants twice over Spring and Summer, then the last 600+ last Fall. (I did away with anything non succulent). He put up with them all without saying much about living in the jungle.

awsome job ! But for next time would it not have been a little easier if you would have cut the plastic pot from the top to bottom ?? If I repot these kind of biggies I do it that way; less stressfull for the plant , less chance ofr breaking...;-)

Thank you! I agree. I did not intend to break the pot on the bottom. In hindsight I should have broke it anyway. Plants health is worth way more! Thx for the tip

You could let the pups that broke off harden off and then stick them in the empty side of the plant you planted.

Great idea. I actually potted them up and am rooting them. Might try that in the fall when the temp drops again. Already 107 degrees this week.

need two peoples t do it. It s a huge cactus n heavy too. use material wrap around it easier t handle

lol. Would have helped. It was heavy. I always do things myself. Stubborn that way. I did a huge tubac prickly pear as well. Maybe double the weight. Felt like a tree! Thanks for the tips!
