You can bake grape/cherry tomatoes and make your own "sun dried tomatoes", it gives you the same flavor, for a lot less with a little bit of extra work

Thank you! I'd like to try that! And if you need to save more money, you could make up a pan of white sauce the night before. Actually, I haven't tried this, making the white sauce and then adding it to a crock pot meal. I want to try that with this meal. Nothing wrong with jars of sauce, but if I had the time, I would make up a good old white sauce and season it with garlic and whatever ingredients were listed on the Alfredo sauce jar.

@magaperson3402 sure, you cut them in half, I like long ways, toss them in olive oil and whatever seasoning you like, I do salt, pepper, and garlic to keep it simple. Then bake on 250 for 1.5-2 hours. Low and slow, until they're dried to the consistency you want. I think it's best to do this method when your tomatoes are just starting to wrinkle and aren't super fresh lol, it's a good way to save them from trash/compost too Eta: I like to put them on parchment paper on a sheet pan

Love the Crockpot (aka coffee pot) chicken recipe with sun dried tomatoes. I Agree totally worth the $. You are the first person I have met who also does not like long spaghetti! My husband will eat almost any cut pasta but dislikes the long spaghetti. . I also wanted to add my sympathy to Mrs. Anna Cooper. Please accept my thoughts and prayers in your time of grief. Chop your cabbage up the night before and let the water drain off it while its in one of those bowls you use the drain your poatai in. make sure you have another bowl under to catch the water

I've had the same problem with other channels. The trick is "unsubscribe" at the beginning of the video, watch to the end before clicking on "subscribe" and setting notifications to all. Something messes with the algorithm and notifications. Once you resubscribe you should be good for a while

👩🏻‍💻When I have spaghetti at home I break the spaghetti noodles in half. For me it makes eating the long noodles easier to eat. I am to do some research on the Ninja Crock Pot for multi-tasking cooking. Does the lid go into the oven with the detachable pot? The Ninja looks so cool.

It sure does, I am just loving this machine! It can do so many different things. I'm going to try frying hamburgers in it this week. My hope is that grease doesn't get everywhere like it does when you fry on the stovetop.

I was wondering, do you have a dollar general where you live? If so, are you going to do the big clarence event sales deal May 10th-12th? This would be a good idea on how to budget shop sales and deals. Also how to use coupons. I’m a whimp with too much hot spice. Really, things can be flavorful without the hot 🥵 sauce. Restaurants also have so many items with that so called kick. Ugh! I’m too old for that kick to my stomach! Sorry for bellyaching, that’s just my pet peeve.

It’s funny how different we all are,I’m 79,and love spicy food,Indian my favorite,followed by Malaysian,Mexican,and Chinese.Those type of foods are flavorful,as well as spicy.I am lucky as even at my age I can eat anything,I see so many older people saying they can no longer eat certain foods.I don’t think hot sauce is about flavor,it’s about a certain kick it gives the food,as most hot peppers don’t have much taste.

I like some seafood, white fish, salmon, tuna, crab cakes, catfish. I'm not a shrimp lover but I make it for Patrick. I think I've made all these on my channel, except maybe catfish... but I don't make them as much as chicken and beef - the kids didn't like it too much 🤣 You know how that goes. I actually have shrimp and salmon in my next video, it will be on Monday night 8pm eastern. Thank you so much for watching and hope you enjoy the seafood next week. 😊
