This pond was paused over winter as not much can be done such as fibreglass etc.
The family has done pretty much everything apart from the filter install which is what we did. We advised on the pond from the start.
For people asking
Around the window frame is Lakeland slate.
The tops on the pond is Indian flags
The cladding is Grenada 1 Russet
Yesterday was the big day! Fish time!
The pond is run on a Nexus 320 via bottom drain.

Tim from an acoustic point of view would you recommend two smaller air pumps 1for bottom drain and 1 for nexus or Just a singular more powerful unit?

We tend to use one but 2 is fine. Depends how much air you want in the pond

I have a question I also run a Nexus would I be better off with a 20 . Litre pump Running at half power Or a 10000 running flat out.

Depends if you plan on changes in the future. A 10,000 is enough.

What a Beauty! I had a quick question for you, I plan on building a 4000L (1000 US Gallon) plywood pond in my 12x8 insulated shed so I can finally keep koi. do koi need sunlight or can I make do with artificial lights? also any recommendations for a simple filter for this size pond? thanks!

Sunlight will always help the colours. There are some aquarium lights that can do a similar job but very expensive. I would use an EazyPod filter system on that size. You can get from Fitz fish ponds in NJ. 👍🏻

@@TimWaddington I may have to fit some skylights in the shed then, as its only just gone up, will be a shame to cut holes in the roof haha, but if it will improve the quality of the koi then why not! spot on thankyou how many koi would you say this size pond could handle long term?

Lovely, I’d add a 12 inch platform around the whole pond to maximise viewing

I think it’s more for on the lower area to put a table, BBQ etc and view the window.

No, the pipe in the outlet is adjustable.
