Love love love these, they are so beautiful!! Two questions: what number is the thickest setting on your pasta machine and why do you hammer the wire findings you make? Looking forward to your reply. Many thanks from Australia!
@Sundiyday
@Sundiyday 2 жыл бұрын
#4 for the layers with mirror powders and # 3 for the base layer. I hammered the wire to make it resistant to movement, because without this the wire will deform when used. 😊Thank you so much for interest to my work, Lynda 🥰
@lalune59
@lalune59 2 жыл бұрын
When you hammer it changes the atoms if the wire. It then sets the wire to go from soft to hard as Sun says it’s then resistant unless you deliberately set out to bend it

My first time was a fail. Still, got some unique earrings out of them but they didn't look like yours. I wasn't sure how much you were using or how thick your pieces were? I didn't seem to have as many pieces as you did at the end for placement so I Used what I had. I'm going to attempt again but I have one question. I didn't see you roll at all before you started cutting. Did you roll your clay at all before you put the plastic wrap down to start cutting out your pieces?
